History

Maxmellion is a confessedly self-made man, and his love of art and beauty are what has drawn him so firmly into spring. although he has a definitely vicious streak, he wants more than anything to be always surrounded by friends. what little has been determined of his history is as follows:

-as a mortal child he was taken by the fae to be a servant

-upon his escape he swore never to kill for his food

-he has worked tirelessly to educate himself, fighting to make up the gaps in his education that were left by his enslavement

-he is almost pathetically frightened of Arcadia, and all but refuses to step foot in the hedge

beyond that, he has refused to comment.

Now that the freehold has come together Maxmelion has made himself one of the most well known changelings in the city, albeit as a boisterous drunk, and most lately as a criminal, the first tried in this freehold for anything less than treachery. His many mistakes have led him down a dark road, and he has made it clear to some that revenge upon both Mr. Wednesday and king Glain are at the top of his list of priorities now that he has escaped the oath of spring. No fool, he knows that direct conflict will mean his death, and so he has begun plotting a far more intricate downfall.

Associations & Associates

member of the LIMBS Motley, and a known trader and collector of art and antiquities in toronto

Associates

Magistrate Small and max have formed a business relationship which looks to bridge into freindship, if max's recent run in with the law doesnt turn Small's head. it is perhaps for the best that max was unconscious for some of Small's comments during his convelecence. . .

Antagonists

John Smith- the Smiths were a thorn in king Max's side while he held that crown, but now that that time has passed a far more amenable relationship has developed between the dark scions of winter and spring's fool.

Mr. Wednesday- Max entered Wednesdays home, unknowingly, and in pursuit of justice. For this Wednesday would have killed him without the intervention of the freehold. While Max still doesn’t know what stopped Wednesday from killing him in the club, he can only presume it was to enjoy the embarrassment it would cause Max to be brought to the court in chains. For this Max has sworn revenge, and will see Wednesday disgraced and destroyed, or fall trying.

King Glain- for both siding with her courtier over the pursuit of a known criminal, and in callously overseeing the abuse of Max's motley-mate Glain has made a staunch enemy of Maxmelion. What that will mean for the rest of the summer court is yet to be seen.

Quotes

"Then just gut him and help me!"- in a panic, to Doc Sweeney

"A seasoning to suit the season, nothing more! To call it poison is pure calumny!" - To whomever will listen regarding the Winter Masque.

Rumors

Who exactly is it that he makes his jerky out of?

Will John Smith provoke him into breaking his oath never to kill for food?
