Mein: Lean and lanky, she stands tallish (6'), with scars on her hands and torso from her many fights. Her black fur and hair is kept short to stay out of her green-gold eyes. Her clothing is loose enough to fight in, but not so loose that it gets in the way, with quite a bit of give in the fabric. Recently seen in leather hedgespun armor, appears to mortal eyes as a leather trenchcoat.

Known History

Basic Timeline:

Stolen as a pre-teen, she grew up as a pit fighter, surviving by her wits and agility. Her Keeper melded her ability with that of a black panther, giving her great agility as well as weapons that couldn't be taken away. Her name, however, was taken from her, as well as many of the details of her former life. She fought her way back to her rationality, escaping after several tries, and burned her hands on the oven door as she crawled out of the hedge. Between the burns and the claws, her fingerprints were altered beyond recognition.

Current Activities:

Ril wanders from city to city, fighting as needed, earning the money she needs to live by combat and by selling the hedge-fruits she hunts. She rarely stays very long, and says very little about who she is, unless she needs a favor. Her voice is a bit scratchy from disuse.

Merit Details:

Surviving on her own, she learned the basics of most weapon fighting, as well as unarmed fighting. Ril learned how to survive on just about anything from the scraps in the arena, and that carried through.

Background:

On the extremely rare occasions she reminisces to another, she comments about wondering what high-school and college is like, and where her fetch, assuming it's still alive, is doing. "I can't step back into that life.... but I still wonder about it, like a missing tooth."
