Mask: Molly has spent a lot of time in the sun, and a lot of time in the dirt. Though her hands are clean, they seem to be stained with years of gardening, her skin a slight red tint from years in the sun. Her hair is long and tucked back under a scarf, though the occasional wisp of gray slips out. She's usually in overalls or jeans and a Reverie shirt. When in the garden, she adds heavy gloves and a thick apron.
Mein: Like so many of the Wizened, she is small and thin, though her skin is nearly leather in it's color, texture and scent. Her hair is all silver under her Mask, and it has a shine to it. Her easy smile presents itself here as well and there's the wisdom of age in her silvery eyes.
History
Nothing is known about Molly before she arrived in New York in the 60's and very little since then - she was the Chamberlain when Miracle Milly became Queen and remains so to this day. She and Milly ran a flower shop, M&M Flowers, in Greenwich Village in the 70's. She spent the other seasons tending to Milly's house and garden. It's as if she had always been there, standing next to the Queen, helping her shine in all her regal glory, even as the light started to fade with time.
But another light emerged, the heir apparent to the fading Queen. And when the light died, Molly not-so-gently pushed another one forward, into the self-created spotlight. Erised became King, M&M Flowers became Reverie and Molly continued as she had, running the new place and the old court with her usual efficiency and terrible potty mouth.
Molly is a little bit of a hippie, with her headscarf and laid back attitude. When she gets riled up, people start hiding, as she's known for her painful accuracy at tossing ladles. She drives a beat up old yellow Volkswagon Beetle, which she lovingly refers to as The Bugger. It's believed she lives somewhere in Reverie, though she's usually up before anyone seems to have stirred (except Erised, who joins her for breakfast).
When Spring is in Season, she might be seen occasionally at an official gathering, squirming slightly in the official attire of her office. She refers to Erised as "Your Majesty" during those times, returning to her regular greeting of "hey kid" during the rest of the year.
Those She Knows
- Erised - Good kid. He'll do Milly proud.
- Stephen Daedalus - Stephen's gotta different look on food, but he's got a few recipes up his sleeve that I'm happy to trade for.
- Rook - Black coffee. He just sits. I don't make conversation but I know his kind, and his look. Young man like that should be out enjoyin' life - not destroyin' it.
- Myo - Some of us build, some of us heal. She's strong as an oak.
- Miracle Milly - We had good times, Milly and I. Protests, concerts - there were good times. I have given the court my life, but Milly had my heart.
- Penny Mal - She's always where she shouldn't be, isn't she? But it's remarkable what a decade of dodging can do for your reflexes.
- Ella - Interesting girl, been shaking things up around here. I love when we get new ones. She just might do.
- Kalen Blazenheart - Seems to have a brain. She just gotta learn when to speak the fuck up. Girl makes sense when she ain't cowing behind some presumed authority.
- Lady Zephyr - Fuck does this woman ever get to the point? She does have an appreciation for fine tea, so she can come back. Just don't let her say a god damned word.
