Mone views the Winter Court as the one that survives. For example, if you're going to be prominent in society, you need to be known for something where your inherent weirdness and eccentricities can be easily explained away. Her "real" job is as a fetish model. The very nature of her work explains away that even though she might be semi well-known in certain circles, those circles are going to EXPECT her to be weird and very different. In that little subculture, she's perfectly normal. When it comes to regular, vanilla people - they will take one look at her, label her as a stereotypical freak, and at that point she will be left alone.
Mone's view on sorrow.... she doesn't really understand human emotions anymore. For her, sorrow is something that other people feel. It's like everything else that other people feel - it's pretty. She can tell you what sorrow looks like as opposed to what happiness looks like. Sorrow just tastes better.
