Description

Nagan is a Naga, that being said he has the upper body of a man and the lower half of viper. His total length is just over 40 feet and he has all the most powerful characteristics of many kinds of snakes. He is able to coil and crush like any Constrictor and yet has all the capabilities of a Viper. Nagan bite is no less than a death sentence, as his venom dissolves flesh like an unstoppable acid until nothing remains of the victim but a bubbling oozing puddle of rancid muck.
Ice City of Wonder
High above Nagan’s lair upon the surface of the Glacier is a Winter Wonderland of snow. It is a place of such dazzeling beauty and rapture that all that enter never wish to leave. It is a world of fantasy and absolute fulfillment. Creatures from all over Arcadia travel to see this amusement park of ice and snow. It is not know if Nagan constructed it to lure people to his lair or if he simply capitalized upon its presence. There are many that take Residence within the Ice City of Wonder. The inhabitance range from simple hobgoblins to other Gentry. There is no limit to the wonders that exist within the Ice City of Wonder. The power that this city consumes, in the attempt to placate everyone that enters it, is beyond comprehension. That power comes at a cost. The cities power comes from deep under the glacier , from a thing called The Great Furnace. It is a Furnace fueled by changelings in service to Nagan. And it is this fact that everyone in the city above owes tithing to Nagan. That Tithing is fresh humans or changelings to run his Lair. All that enter are never seen from again.
Lair
Nagan’s Lair is hidden deep within the fissure of an endless Glacier. His underworld sits deep beneath the ice in an elaborate maze of caves and tunnels. Many of the Caves are so large that individuals cannot see the ceiling or other sides of. It is an endless world devoid of Sunlight and the Sky. He uses changeling for a multitude of purposes. Many of which are set to the tasks of stoking the giant coal furnaces that keep his lair at a comfortable 115 Degrees F. The passages into his lair are long slides of ice and snow tumbling the soon to be changelings into locked cells, where they wait for their new life’s assignments. Rumor has it that there is no passages that lead back up to the surface of the Glacier, but a few changelings believe that there may be a way through the Great Furnace’s Chimney. The heat from the Great Furnace is hot enough to melt bedrock and create lava geysers that bellow forth noxious gasses upward into the Glacier high above.
Privateers
The Ringleader- He is a changeling that has lost his mind and is unknowingly supplying Nagan with fresh humans for his lair. The Ringleader takes humans roughly at the age of 16 and carts them away to the [Ice City of Wonder]. He is taking them on a great adventure that will 'make them better', he believes. After getting them to the Ice City he leads the new humans to various amusements that will change them forever. The human goes in and after a short while a fetch is given back to The Ringleader. The changeling has become so delusional that he truly thinks the Fetch is the child he had brought , only made better by its experiences in the Ice City of Wonder. He then returns the fetch to the mortal world and begins his work toward new and bigger group of mortals to make ‘better’.
Liberacion- A changeling that speaks only Spanish and his goal is to Liberate other changelings from their keepers. He has been given a great token that empowers him far greater than any average Changeling. The token is a sword forged within Nagan’s Great Furnace. The sword makes him practially unbeatable in combat. He knows that liberating one changeling and then turning him over to nagan is a terrible thing, but it is a small price to pay to fee others.
