Nate never said where he was from, only where he was going. The lanky middle class man was always the first to lend a hand or shed a tear. Someone's got to do the good work he'd say. From soup kitchens to animal shelters, where ever someone needed help, Nate would find a way to show up.

For all the saber rattle it came as no surprise that Nate tried to talk people down, but, he'd say, if we were going to fight, then it was best that everyone pitched in and did what they could. The conscientious objector of Adamant's Folly, Nate made sure he was right on the front lines to pull out the wounded. When someone went down, Nate would stride in without fear and haul their mangled carcasses out one at a time. It came as no surprise that he went back for the fallen even after the tide began to turn. It came as no surprise that he too didn't come back.
