Physical description: In her human form, Nova is a pretty girl, who always dresses brightly and has a penchant for pink. Her fae mien gives the impression of large black and pink common rose butterfly wings

Known History
Before Arcadia: The girl who would become Nova was born in 1943 Melbourne, Australia. She grew up in a properous time, in a wealthy family. However at the age of 15 she began to hang out with the 'wrong crowd' and soon found herself pregnant. Her horrified parents sent her away to have the child, which was removed from her against her wishes before she even laid eyes on it. In her grief she prayed for the child back, but the her pleas reached the wrong ears.
Arcadia: The Lepidopteran Monarch took Nova as a playmate and nanny for her numerous children in 1959 at the age of 16. Her memories of her time in Arcadia are vague, but filled with the mocking laughter of children, childish games, and never being able to grow up. In a mass breakout led by Bramble a number of years ago (2005), Nova escaped, but has taken a number of years to escape the hedge as she often found it difficult to remember her human self. She finally escaped from the hedge in January, 2008 with a number of other changeling.
Current Activities: Married to Benoit Le Fleur, and trying to forget the past. Has begun a little hedge garden. Runs a lingerie store, Butterfly Kisses.

Nova: Like the teenager she was, Nova is still quite naive, but wants to be worldly. As a result she is very easily (and willingly!) influenced, especially by those of her court who she views as being sophisticated and experienced. Like a butterfly, she is drawn to bright and beautiful things. When she first tasted Freedom, she went a little wild, but Benoit has now settled her down, and she is currently working on a number of projects, such as her garden and her lingerie store.
