Description: A Brush of Fur
They'd say she was autistic, but they never met her Master, terrifying even in kindness, or the Others. They'd say she had Stockholm Syndrome if they knew, if they believed her and didn't drug her again, like they did when she burst through the Thorns onto the street. You'd have it too if you knew her Master.
Knives, shivs, these are what she uses now, fingers curling for want of arrows she can't afford. But blood is blood, hot and sweetly wet, and the foremost of her hungers, though none are subtle, be it food or sex.
She likes the stories the Hunts tells among themselves, of the old gods, and the Valkyries, and wishes she could read. Instead, she sits in the corner with her dogs, hungry, snappish street dogs that she calls pack, and listens. Deeply spiritual, she has no name for her faiths, unformed and savage, only a deep and abiding belief in the powers of blood and freedom.
Those who do not know her mistake her for one devoid of emotion. To see feelings other than anger is an exercise best undertaken by those with keen observational skills.
Mask: Seemingly on the cusp of twenty, Nujalik is a thin girl with dark hair and naturally tan skin. Her movements and manner are gawky to the point of threatening in social company, which explains her habitual avoidance of social niceties and occasions. On the street, she's much more at home, padding from shadow to shadow with the habit of years. Her clothes are often indicative of her rough life, going from trashy to threadbare to leather as her needs dictate and her hands can scrounge. Her hair is incongruously long, tied into a number of dark brown locks.
Mein: The most accurate indicator of her temperament is her ears, more mobile than they ought to be, despite their human appearance. She is noted for the ability to howl as a wolf even when walking as a woman.
Mantle: The pack circles, a feeling of being watched on all sides accompanied with the scent of sun-warmed fur and tinder-dry forests.
Notable Traits: Nujalik is usually accompanied by at least one stray dog, and speaks rarely. Her expression is generally impassive, though those long familiar with her can discern her moods with practise.

Quotes: Scent of the Pack
- "Such a lovely doggie, she is, my love. Eyes bright as the sky, glassy and unseeing. Fur sleek and pretty, wet against her flesh. Blood sweet and crimson, staining my knife. Pretty, pretty, pretty love." - Jack Sprat
- "In the shadows you're too afraid to slink into, even if you're running for your life, there is a... gentleman's agreement between the feral dogs and the sewer rats." -Rattenkonigin
- "Be silent a moment. What do you hear? That is the difference: where you hear silence, she and I speak a thousand words to each other." - Cerannen
- "Such a gorgeous mouth. It's almost a shame that the only time she's ever used it on me was when she threatened to crush my windpipe in her jaws. I like a good biter and all but that was a bit much." -Christian
- "I am not often considered the most skilled of bards, but she always listened with such fascination that I could not help but try and be better. Telling her stories was like spinning wonderment." - Edria Meredith
- "Please don't eat me." - Noman
- "Don't put anything there that you want back." - Ox to grabby Changeling unaware of Nujalik's boundaries
- "Remember all the stories you've ever read about the wolves that live in the deepest darkest woods, silent as the wind and deadly as sin? This one, she's the sort that's black as pitch and twice as mean, but never so much so that she wouldn't let you leave if you volunteered to do it. The glowing eyes in the shadows...the threatening growl, that's Nujalik. I kept my part of the woods, and left the rest to her." - Thorn
- "Now, when i first met her i had a right good shout at her for following me around. So sue me, Elementals are crazy C*nts, i tell people that all the time. She aint so bad though, Kept me 'Company' when i was on guard duty because she knew the same score as i did. And bugger me senseless if she aint pleasing on the eyes. Heh" - Steampunk of Dunasheen
- "Oh, yeah... our conversational Nujalik word count is currently '1'... needs more work" - Steampunk again
