Location: Wherever he can find a drink, a woman, or a bed, usually in that order.
Age: Mid 30s apparently.
Seeming: Fairest
Kith: None apparent

Concept: Smiling Irish Rogue
Merits: Striking Looks 4: Walking Irish Stereotype
Description:

Mask:
Patty Murphy is the stereotypical Irishman. Tall and lanky, with fair skin, unruly red hair and a generous dusting of freckles. He's almost always smiling, those big green irish eyes full of mischief. It's a safe bet that he's also usually at least somewhat intoxicated.

Mein: Patty's Mein is very similar to his Mask, except more vivid. He has slightly pointed ears and his skin is almost milk white. His red hair is a bright, unnatural red. The same goes for the green of his eyes.

Mannerisms: Patty is almost always smiling. He's very cordial, and even when he's riled up and ranting, he's usually still fairly easygoing. He's very animated and passionate, almost like a cartoon. He is also very, very beautiful. He seems almost unreal.

Mantle: Patty's mantle is the smell of heather in bloom and the barely noticeable sounds of violins playing an irish reel.

History

Patty was a musician before he was grabbed. He played traditional Irish folk music in a band. His Keeper grabbed him one night because he liked what Patty and his band played. He made Patty into the walking sterotype of an Irishman. He had heard the song "Night Pat Murphy Died" and decided to make his idea of Patty Murphy. Patty's name was stolen from him and he was made into the walking sterotype of an irishman and was made to play very often, sometimes for days at a time. Patty eventually escaped by filching small things from his Keeper's home, eventually working up to the key to his cage and the other things he would need to escape. He looked and looked for his name, but never found it. His opportunity came and he left, without his name.

Present

Patty no longer plays the fiddle. He will sing when drunk, but he hasn't touched a fiddle since he left the hedge. Instead, he makes his way wandering from place to place, living on his wits and occasionally on his ever increasing skills as a thief. Patty is no dummy, and often uses the fact that he embodies an archtype to his advantage. He will play the drunken irishman to the hilt, whether he is or not. He has also gotten very good at being such an obvious mark that folks don't realize that instead of playing him, they themselves are being played. Since his return, Patty has built up impressive skills as a forger and pickpocket, but mostly as a conman. He can smooth talk his way through just about anything. Whenever he's confronted with something, he'll just smile guilelessly and talk about the luck of the Irish.

Rumors

  • Patty? Yeah, I know that guy. Don't you think he's just a little *too* normal? I mean, that is, for our kind. Anybody who doesn't seem to have any real secrets must have a LOAD of them. Y'know what I mean? Watch out for that guy. Something stinks.
