The Invitation
Dearest Friend,
On October 11th, 1869, a tiny baby was left on the doorstep of the Sisters of Charity in New York City. The child was placed with a loving family, and within two months, a hundred other lost children found their way to the Sisters. Today, The New York Foundling helps over 13,000 lost children and families ever year. Please, won't you be a part of their great work?
I am excited to invite you to my annual New Year's Eve Ball to benefit the New York Foundling. With festive holiday entertainment provided by famed opera singers Belle Chanson and William Siren, a bluegrass set for local flavor, and a truly unique auction, this promises to be the society event that sets the bar for the new year.
There will only be one level of underwriting. For $10,000, you will receive two tickets to the Ball, accommodations at the finest private resort in the South, all your meals catered by a renowned chef, a spa certificate, and a champagne toast. I encourage your to confirm your reservation as soon as possible.
