Physical description: Standing nearly 7 feet tall the odd appearance of Queg's mortal mask presents the image of... something. His ragged had me down clothes, strange leather cloak, and lucky fishing hat, hovering over a perpetual grin have lead him to be identified variously as, a hippy, and drunk hobo, a fisherman, or something else entirely.
His Seeming presents a much more disturbing picture, the massive grin looks down between a spiders waving palps, and 3 smaller eyes gleam with the same smile around the each main eye. The cloak hides the 4 vestigial legs he uses to climb so well. Strange patterns dot his chitinous skin, and his hair becomes the bushy hair of a spider.

Queg is a good humored sort, who never lets anything get him down, he's relentlessly loud, and cheerful, even when there's nothing to be cheerful about. He wanders from place to place as his fancies take him, developing friendships along the way. He makes it a point to leave everyone he meet a little better off in some way, be that a poem, a new recipe, or a barn raising. He's also been known to take on a "project" discovering someone's greatest dream and making that happen.
Known History
Basic Timeline:
- 1984 - Kennith takes a job as a school teacher on a small island in the Caribbean.
- 1985 - Kennith and one of his students go on a fishing trip and are lost in a storm, washing ashore on an island with strange thorny foliage, they are captured by a spider woman who calls herself The Eternal Widow
- Sometime In Arcadia - Queg flees the Widow and instead finds himself impressed to serve as a Harpooner aboard an Arcadian Whaling vessel.
- late Summer 2001 - Queg Escapes the Whaler by diving into and swimming through an underwater hedge, taking air with him like like a diving bell spider. He washes ashore and immediately takes to living as a savage, Living off the land and avoiding humanity out of fear for his appearance. Queg is found by Rowan who teaches him about changeling society and introduces him to the courts.

Bishop Barlow has been a patron of sorts for the wandering spider, giving him odd jobs and sending him on errands in exchange for basic supplies, and some cash.
Mother Rowan - Innkeeper and defender of The Haven in Pasadena, CA, she was the first to find him after he found his way back through the Hedge. She gave him a place to stay and helped him get acclimated to the ways of Changeling society, and also learned to endure a bit of his very blunt and boisterous nature.
