Physical description: Mask - A well-toned man of average height and build. He has a very intense gaze, made all the more intense by the tendency toward leather clothing and the bright orange-red mokawk he sports (Presence 5). His features are rugged, as are his hands, but there's something attractive about the whole Bad Boy image he cultivates.

Mien - As the mien, but the skin is a mottled green scale covering, heavier and thicker on his joints and hands than on the rest of his body, and giving his face an angular symmetry not unlike a the dragons the Kith is named for. A bright orange-red crest begins over the bridge of his nose and ends at the nape of his neck.

Merit Details:

Background:

Frederick Balmunk James was a child in desperate need of guidance. His hobbies in the mid to late eighties ranged from street brawls to breaking and entering, and in time would have broken his dear mother's heart when her baby boy was inevitably locked behind bars. In a moment of dubious fortune, that fate was averted for Fred himself when he was carried off to Arcadia. Long years of war games with the beasts of legend and their heirs taught him discipline, pain, and skill, though the details are mercifully obscured. Remembering the cruel tortures for combats not cinematic enough, for combats lost, and worse, for combats won in an unpleasing manner, would probably break his mind beyond repair.

His love of personal freedom and for his family, whom he thought would have searched far and wide for him, and the memory of a fellow gladiator who was like a mentor and even father figure before his escape, bore him across the Hedge to a place rather distant from his home of so long ago. After learning of the Fetches that are left in place of the Changelings, he resigned himself to not seeking out his family any time soon, and instead chronicles in sublime poetry the fall of combatants and warriors that he has known.
