Ways to Stay...
The Inn at Reverie acts as a safe space for the newly emerged to stay safely. Those who affirm the Guest Right; find themselves protected in a myriad fashion. Those who are are newly emerged and work downstairs are provided room and board as well as a stipend to be used to help them get onto their feet.
Those who are recovering and usually coming from the clinic find again room and board is provided for, but do not have to affirm the Guest Right; nor do they need to contribute to the Inn if they are bedridden.
Finally, there are those who come to Reverie when they visit the city. Those who do affirm a similar guest right to that which the newly Lost affirm. It is expected that they too contribute to the Inn; but do not recieve a stipend in addition to their room and board (which is included and never charged).
Hospitality & Guest Right
Everyone who stays at Reverie is requested to swear a basic pledge to honor the peace and sanctuary of Reverie. The pledge, while varying due to the duration of each guest; remains in essence the same. To commit no act of violence against any who share a place beneath the roof of Reverie. To contribute in some way to Reverie; to earn one's keep in other words. From clearing to dishes, to weeding in the garden, to helping decorate for different times of the year. Money is rarely an acceptable means contribution.

The Rooms
Every room at Reverie has a personality; just like the people who run it, and the people who stay there. The staff at Reverie prides itself on making everyone who stays with them feel comforatable and at home. Past guests may always ask to see if "their room" is available.
The Second Floor
The Bower
Occupancy: MyoPrevious/Regular Guests:
When the door closes to the bower, it feels as though one is transported to what can only be described as a "shy" Japanese meditation garden. All along the walls climb cherry blossoms and eventually spread out into what appears to be a sleeping pallet. Simple pillows and blankets in muted pink silks are the only indications of it being a bedroom.
The Lantern
Occupancy: Erised
Previous/Regular Guests: Pierce, Nepenthe
The Lantern is designed and decorated so as to feel as though one is literally in an old fashioned lantern. It sports metalic shutters on the windows and on the closets to enhance the feel. At the center of the room is a great bed featuring linens and dressings to resemble a sort of flame. The copper plates on the floor and ceiling were designed in such a way as to reflect sunlight when the window shutters are open; it is often said to be one of the brightest rooms at Reverie.
The Alethiometer
Occupancy: Varyn
Previous/Regular Guests: Varyn,
A room unlike any other in Reverie, this one seems to be alive with movement; the sound of gears and a steady tick-tock of a clock touches the ears. The walls of the room are akin to a burnished gold, while the windows and closets are all round and spin of their own accord as gears might inside a clock; or some other device. In fact; it nearly feels as though one is inside some great machine; created by a beautiful madness with purposes unknown.
The Magic Carpet
Occupancy: Hasan Saif
Previous/Regular Guests:
The first thing one notices upon entering is the cloying scent of jasmine and incense. The second is the rich, jewel tone colors. The floor is carpet, of course; but this handsome custom rug has the uncanny ability seem as though it is floating along. The other accents of the room favor an Arabian Nights theme, from lush pillows to antique oil lamps and a collection of curved swords. However, like most of Reverie, where what could be kitch or cliche brings on a new vitality; an energy of desire and life.
The Studio
Occupancy:
Previous/Regular Guests: Cereus,
Often preferred by visiting artists; it is a room full of natural light that looks out on the street below; offering unbridled views of the cityscape. When the windows are open, the scents of the kitchen envelope it with the smell of fresh bread in the mornings. The room itself is functional yet comfortable; sporting a full size bed with bohemian and natural fiber linens and blankets. The newly found, under Myo's care like it as generally speaking it's not quite so dramatic as some of Reverie's offerings; a good place to get on your feet. If booked in advance, various artistis equipment can be made available (Easels, sewing machines, potters wheels, and writing implements as just examples)
The Curio
Occupancy:Dwight
Previous/Regular Guests:
At the end of the second floor hallway, across from the communal bathroom is an oddly shaped closet door that you might ordinarily think would be the linen closet. However, when opened, it reveals a bizarrely cramped room that brings new meaning to the word "eclectic". The walls are covered from floor to ceiling with shelves of varying heights, widths, depths and most of all, contents. Between shelves and wardrobes is a bed niche, across from which are a pair of squashy chairs with a spindly legged side table.
The Third Floor
The Peach
Occupancy: Vacant
Previous/Return Guests: Darling, Kalen Blazenheart
When a guest at Reverie enters The Peach; they hear the soft music of wind chimes by the French windows that open to a tiny balcony overlooking the garden. The room itself is decorated in the southern tradition with peach colored accents.
The Pomegranate
Occupancy: Vacant
Previous/Regular Guests: Cereus, Tanith, Lady Zephyr
A room picked out in various reds that just feels juicy. The accents of the room reflect the richness of the Orient in the classic style with dark woods and touches of gold. As one sits in the reading chair, the subtle scents of long ago burned incense become apparent lending a warm lived in feel
The Apple
Occupancy:
Previous/Regular Guests: Niemand, Edria Meredith
Guests at Reverie often remark that this room feels almost like what staying at Grandma's house could have or should have been. A true sleigh bed with rich white sheets and colorful hand-made quilts provide a warm bed on the coldest nights. Accents and pictures in the room are usually of landscapes or "park-scapes"; offering a soothing gender neutral room. A particular favorite among the newly found.
The Lime
Occupancy: Vacant
Previous/Regular Guests: Edria Meredith
The Lime room at Reverie favors a green scheme blended with a tropics theme. Dark woods contrast the lighter green walls with a texture like a ripening fruit. The artwork on the walls act nearly like windows as though one is looking out on an untouched beach with views of an ocean distantly.
The Tea Tree
Occupancy: Vacant
Previous/Regular Guests: Althea & Elizabeth Sexton
The Tea Tree is the only "suite" at Reverie, consisting of two adjoining rooms that flow into one another; decorated entirely to appear as though the occupants are sleeping in a beautiful tree. The other distinguishing note of the room; is that the leaves are always changed to reflect the season; but the room is truly at it's glory during the Spring.
Out of Doors
The Tree House
Occupancy: Ella
Previous/Regular Guests: n/a
The Tree House is a first at Reverie; constructed and "designed" for Ella, a recently escaped Lost. Prone to sleeping outside in the tree as opposed to the room provided for her; Erised has hung a great big green tarp in the tree over a large hammock. The hammock is a burrow of blankets and pillows with a safety net under it. Through intricate lashing and knot tying, the Tree House also sports all manner of hooks, nets, and canvas bags for storage. In Spring, Ella's Tree House is all but obscured with the fresh leaves and blooms of the tree.
The Dog House
Occupancy:
Previous/Regular Guests:
A gag gift that appeared recently, it is coyly hidden amongst the vines and undergrowth in one corner of the garden. The most visible elements of it's construction if your not looking for it are the pink letters spelling out "Penne" and a dog bowl that has been decoupaged with the words "That Bitch" on it.
