In childhood Rose was the victim of Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy (Now known in the DSM IV as factitious Disorder by Proxy) With all the pain and depression she was entrenched in due to her mother's cruel attention seeking attempts, Jenny Joel wished that someone would come to her rescue and love her the way a true mother should. However,once her prayers were finally answered things changed...for the worse. She was tricked into going with the gentry, by means of treachery and false promises. Then her captors changed her into an elegant looking doll, with long limbs, charcoal curls, and and snow white porcelain skin that covered her angelic face and delicate body. Upon her transformation she was presented to a young girl of noble birth and for a while the doll now called "Rosette" was happy and seemingly loved. The little girl was delighted with her new doll's songs and would have her sing for hours. Rosette never grew tiered of making her keeper happy. Nevertheless, it did not take long for her mistress to grow bored with her and when parents presented her with a new doll, Rosette was cast aside to the dark corner of the room known by the other unwanted dolls as the "Porcelain Mausoleum ". Rosette fell into a deep depression and started to sing songs of sadness. Fortunately, the songs caught the ear of another once human captive, an ogre by the name of Greer. He had fallen in love with the sorrowful doll and deiced to help her escape beyond the hedge. While Greer succeeded in his objective he managed to lose his life in the process. The music box, lady doll, still feels guilt for the loss of her devoted protector.
Now that she is back in the human world, the former Jennifer Joel is now known as Rose White. She works as a seamstress and model for an online clothing boutique called "Demitra's Moonlight Garden" which specializes in Gothic fashions, including outfits created in the Gothic and Lolita style of Japan. Rose has gained a small local following for her modeling and has even been requested to pose for several Goth publications and magazines (due to her striking pale skin and doll like features), however, because of her dislike for crowds of strangers, this quiet and demure beauty prefers a quiet night of sewing dresses and thus, refuses invitations to club opening and photo shoots.
Rose has a somewhat creepy and inhuman beauty about her. She is very quiet, very still, and has a habit of staring intently at others. Her behavior seems very alien to most (even more so then other elementals) but towards people who have taken the time to get to know her for she can be sweet, devoted, and very naive.
