Physical description:Skinny small, long hair that is often tied back but scruffy. Always looking edgy and watching the shadows, he looks young for his age. Slink shows no seeming in the real world, it is only in the hedge that his true nature comes through, feathers flick through his hair and his eyes seem to get bigger showing his beast nature and his affinaty with birds.

Basic Timeline: October 1943: Born Waddington, Lincolnshire.
Feb 1956: Taken one night when out playing hide and seek.
April 2004: Returned from Arcadia

June 2005: Joined The Margarvate of the Brim

Merit Details:
Background: Simon's farther was an American Air Force officer who was staying at RAF Waddington as part of the Strategic Air Command (SAC) to bases in England. His mother was Japanese and had come to the UK with his farther. The had a lot of trouble with the fact that she was Japanese and Japan had sided with the axis but they managed to stay together. Simon was born on the airbase and grew up as an army brat to begin with but it was not to soon after he was born that WWII ended, his farther tried to stay in the UK as much as he could as he and his wife had grown to love it here. He was a bit of an absentee farther being forced to go away to the Korean war 1950 and rarely returning till it's end in 1953. Simon's farther finally was posted as part of the Tactical Air Command. Simon was a strange boy who was shy, his farther coming and going affected him strangely and he bonded strongly to his mother. He was taken whilst out playing his favorite childhood game hide and seek with some other army brats.
Simon was taken and then used transformed by his keeper, the keeper took from Simon an image that warmed his heart and used it to start to torture and change him. He took from his mind the image of his mother’s favourite animal, a bird, a nightjar. His mother had fondly told Simon of tales from Japan of the Nightjar and how much she loved it’s grace and beauty. The keep took this and used it to tiswt and ward Simon and change him in to a beast.
The Keeper kept his pet in an every changing forest, theeming it through on what Simon had taken from his mother the images and the thoughts of Japan and the great emperors and their wonderful buildings, Simon was soon lost to this world as familiar as it was, he was used to spot and guard to sign out in the sign of danger to guard his keeper. His Keeper had liked the places from simon’s dreams and soon placed themselves as the Emperor of the land with servants running about to do his bidding and to see to his every wim.
Simon had no sense of how long he was a there and was lost to the feeling of the beast, the grace the feeling of the wind, but the ever present voice in his mind watching him holding there. Till one day the Emperor reach in to the deepest of Simons dreams and pulled the last memories of his mother to play with. Little did the Emperor know that bring these last remnants of Simon out would have such and effect.
Slink was flying round the realm when he flew over the Central Plaza created by the Emperor, to find a statue of his mother in full Japanese regalia as she had once described to him, suddenly he felt a pull the need to be home and he sped away through the hedge leaving the beast behind finding himself more and more the closer he got to the mortal world.
Hind and running through the hedge he found his way back not, knowing what he was looking for he stepped on the soil of the real world and was back, Lost feeling unsettled in both worlds.
When he came back form Arcadia the world had changed a lot from when he was taken, he still seems to shy away from the real world while hating the world of Arcadia. He spends time alone a lot nipping in and out of the hedge finding a strange comfort in the world that is not here or there!!
Shortly after finding himself a home in Birmingham, he joined the Margarvate of the Brim preferring to not get involved in court politics but instead help protect people and watch what was happening in the brim.
