Tamarack was a long term member of Santy's Recluse. There are not many details on him before his first Hedge Duel, after which point the abrasive and somewhat obnoxious Beast gained a surge of popularity, making Hedge Duels trendy for some. The Winter Court laid the blame of some of their abductions on Tamarack's flamboyant and reckless ways. Whether Ben gave these credence when he banished Tamarack, along with 7 others, is something Ben took to his grave. Tamarack does feel slighted by the banishment, however.
