Physical description: A well built female generaly in biker garb of patchwork leather tops and black pants. To other fae she has silveryblue tint to her skin, a hint of scales, small delicate claws instead of fingernails and a small pair of fangs where her cainines should be.

Tanni was a captive of the La Comtesse Adeline Glace de l'Hiver Gelé

Tanni owns a bar and grille in a section of Norfolk, Willoughby, the bar's name is Dominion's End.

She has a very antiqutaed style to her, and has difficutly with most modern appliances and gadgets.

Background: Tanni Stuart was born in 1903 in Shenandoah, VA to Boni and Harriet Dalton. She moved to Norfolk, VA in 1921 in search of work and found an ex-sailor turned fisherman Nathaniel Cooper. They fell in love and were married on May 15, 1922.

Times were still hard even for someone who could bring in a good catch of fish each day. With the Prohibition, there was money to be made supplying the speak-easies with their liquor. This is where Tanni shone, she’d make late night runs with her husband’s boat from her home in Ocean View to a small Island in the bay where the distilleries were hidden. Then she’d return with the beverages to port and sell them to the highest bidder. This was ended up being a good business for her, and they managed to save much of what they earned for a ‘rainy day’.

One cloudy evening in 1927 during one of her runs to the Island someone grabbed her from behind and lifted her in the air. She fought with all of her strength and gave her abductor a nice wound for his trouble, but to no avail, she was forced across the Hedge with him and into the halls of the Comtesse Adeline Glace. Here she was given the name Tanni ( serpent) and trained to fight in the Fae arenas and she quickly became lanistae for her Mistress.

After many years of service, she lost count after the first 8, she was out shown by a new addition to the Comtesse’s fighters. His name was Alexadre and he was captured already knowing the martial arts. Knowing her time was near and what Fate awaited her at her Mistresses hand Tanni decided to escape back to the mortal world. They did this by distracting the Comtesse with a well endowed young fighter with few scars but a lot of stamina, he never saw his fate coming.

Tanni fought and scabbed for what seemed like weeks through the country side of L’Hivre Glace. She came to what looked like a large lake, and she found a rowboat nearby. She stole away in the small craft as fast as she could row, soon she could no longer see the shore, but she kept rowing for the other side she knew was there even as night fell upon her. Eventually she started to se a light in the distance, and the closer she got it became apparent the light was a lighthouse. Invigorated with hope to see land again she rowed even harder then before, and she started to see other ships in the distance on the horizon. She turned her bow to the light source a kept going, knowing she’d make it there, as she approached, she noticed that the ships and other boats had lights as well, and many were made of something she’d never seen before. Was she still in Faerie? Well, if so she’d just keep going until she found her way to her real home. At last just before the suns first rays were peeking above the horizon she hit the beach before the lighthouse. She stepped out onto firm land and collapsed from exhaustion.

She awoke in a small stark room on a simple bed with some food and water on a table beside her. After doing a quick check, she affirmed that she had not been harmed and ate and drank what had been offered. She got up and tested the door, to her surprise it was not locked. She opened the door to discover herself in a small house, with a man sitting in a chair reading a book, he looks at her as she emerges from the bedroom. He calls himself Kevin Rienhart, and he looks like a fae. He offers to help Tanni find her home, and to get adjusted to life as a free fae. She is confused by it all, but after a few hours spent in the world outside the lighthouse she accepts his aid. She soon discovers that her husband had been long dead by this time and that the year is now 2003. Even so she makes arrangements to go and see her old home on Willoughby Spit, and sees that it hasn’t changed much. The color is different, but the house is still the same, And it was for sale!

Since it was currently empty she snuck in and made her way to her hidden stash of funds. She pulled out a panel in the attic and found it had been undisturbed. She then made arrangements to take her funds to a bank, But Kevin tells her to take her coins to a coin collector and she’ll get much more then their face value for them. She went to a coin collector and turned in several valuable coins. She then bought her old house with cash and proceeded to get herself settled in. Realizing that her coins would not last forever, she opened up her own bar and grille. It took quite a bit of renovations to the downstairs of her old home, but business is good at Dominion’s End , and the house Whisky is the best in town!
