Arcadian History
Tasiette was frequently seen in attendance of the Dread Lord of Trespasses. She kept record of his appointments, she recorded the oaths he gave and those given unto him. Outside of his audiences, she managed portions of the estate. It seemed as if she were one of those being groomed for an Overseer position.
It's rumored that she was present for his less public, shadier engagements, and was also responsible for turning disobediant pets in for punishment. Could she, then, have been present for the horrific torments whispered of her Keeper? No one knows for sure. If she were there and complicit, who would dare risk becoming that nightmare's target by giving the query voice.

Rumors
- She was a favored pet, holding a role of high esteem for her Keeper.
- She is truly a Loyalist.
- She rarely forgets a detail.
- She was kidnapped from Arcadia when she wouldn't leave willingly, carried across the Hedge in a lead trunk. Was it for her protection, or to make her an easier target?
- There are many dark secrets she holds locked within silence...or are those dark plans?
- Tasiette used her extensive recall and resource allocation access/skills to mastermind the longest-running 'Underground Railroad' in Arcadian History. Traces of which remain in Arcadia even today.
- Only once, after her capture, has she ever shed a tear. This is kept locked away in moonsilver, hidden in the river of time. Her soul would be entirely under control of whomever finds it, and could be destroyed with one smear.
- Tasiette has OCD and can't pass by a haphazard object without righting it.
Scenes from the Abyss
The first cry of pain echoed down the hallways like a lost, terrified child. Few servants took notice, carrying on with their assigned tasks. Those not completely numbed by agony's frequent music either found within it peace that it was another's voice who sang, or fear that they would be next if they did not complete their duties to the Overseers' satisfaction.
The unfamiliar tone caught Tasiette's ear. Its terror was raw, yet tentative; a mind so new to the realm that denial still struggled to buffer reality. "Not another..," she thought with dread, and the soft cries turned to tormented screams that echoed in every twist of corridor to create a thundering cachaphony of suffering. A not so casual reminder for the members of the estate on the importance of following the Rules.
"Why don't they learn not to cry out?" she thought. Her pained eyes met Sundowner's after a corner's turn. Lips part and jaw tense as if to speak, but no forbidden sound came forth. Facial expressions are all they have, but it is enough to share the sorrow and steel needed to survive this cruel existence.
Tasiette shifts the ledger between her arms, disturbing the handful of precisely plucked flowers she held in her hand. The second for their shared expression was a second too long, and she hurried onward to her next appointment. Behind her, a few petals drifted slowly toward the cold stone floor. Sundowner hesitated, calcluated and considered before he gusted them to his pocket. Having Tasiette in his debt was far more useful than turning her in for leaving something where it didn't belong. Besides, housekeeping wasn't part of his oaths; no way the oversight could fall back on him.
