-Good news for local Cemetery-
Though there is still a long way to go, work is moving on in the cleaning up process at Acklam cemetery. A spokesman said today that they are about a quarter of the way through the programme, and showed me around what they have done up to now. Funding is already running low and they have requested financial aid from teh local COuncil.
He explained that though the plans for replacing the stolen and broken statues are still going ahead, they would not be able to afford the expense of replacing them with new ones. They will be buying them as lots from decommissioned cemeteries where headstones not claimed are auctioned off.
-Trouble brewing in Paradise?-
Police have become concerned after a member of a notorious local family was viciously assaulted at a recently re-opened night club. They believe that there might be repercussions from the more hot-headed members of the family.
After speaking to the victim the police believe it was not perpetrated by a rival family, though they are investigating all possibilities.
-Safety Concerns Continue-
There have been signs of activity coming from the abandoned mines in Eston Hills in the past few weeks. Although the mine entrances were sealed when they were closed last century, there were many unofficial entrances created by miners digging close to the surface and smugglers using disused areas to hide their booty. Over the years some parts have opened up due to collapses caused by bad weather conditions.
The Fire Service have stationed a two-man off-road vehicle near by in Eston Hills for a faster response to the phenomenon, and all rescue services are searching city records in an attempt to find maps of the mines that will complete their knowledge.
Initial findings from Rescue Teams have found little evidence as to the cause of the lights. Several chambers near the surface appear to have been used in past generations of teenagers for drinking and other illegal activities but nothing recent has been found yet.
The Council have advised all hikers in the area to take extra care and to carry radios in case the ground collapses beneath them or they fall into a hidden hole.

- Hi-tech Robbery at Cemetary -
Middlesbrough Council are investigating the theft of security recording equipment from the renovation project in Linthorpe Cemetry. A statement from the Council said that "Two DVD recorders have been stolen from a portacabin housing the temporary security office for the site; the cemetary is due to be hooked up to the Council's network in a few months and the recording equipment was already allocated to a replanting operation in the local Parks. The equipment isn't good enough to copy commercial DVDs, which is the only reason we can think for the theft. The two recorders are security marked so please keep an eye out if you are offered them and contact the Middlesbrough Council Office or Police Station."
- Restoration Fund asks for Donations -
Locals are outraged after the theft or destruction of another two statues in Linthorpe Cemetary. The two angel statues were on graves dating back to the early 1900s and were very valuable. Survivng members of the families have come together and started a charity to restore the four graves to their fomer glory. Due to the high cost of materials and labour they have announced an initial target of £100,000 and have requested that local sculptors donate their time and skills. The charity have also announced that members will be standing watch in the graveyard over the coming months in the hope of catching the thieves and vandals. They have appealed for support and help from neighbouring communities: either in time to help patrol or for refreshments for those standing watch.
- Hoax Emergency Calls on Eston Hills -
Cleveland Fire Brigade have released a statement following a chain of false alarm calls to mines in the Eston Hills. The calls are assumed to be of good intent as they have been from serveral well-known locals but they have wasted a lot of Brigade time and money. The calls report fires or lights seen within the mines at night but large portions of the mines have been boarded up or deliberately caved in for decades. The Brigade stated that the recorded mine entrances still appeared to be secure and that no local children have been reported missing. It is currently assumed that local children have found a new or unknown entrance and are exploring the tunnel tetwork at night. The Brigade and Council would like to stress how potentially dangerous this is as they have no easy access or detailed maps in case of an emergency.

-Turf Wars Continue-
The local drug war reached new hights in Middlesbrough on the weekend. Police were called to the Ship Mate Inn, a notorious local pub, after gunshots were heard by staff. Witnesses state that the shots were heard shortly after a small gang of Caucasion males aged 24~30 entered the pub, walked through the bar and headed up the stairs to a private function room.
Police arrived within minutes but everyone involved had already fled the scene. The scene was sealed off to await an investigation team. Initial statements from the Police indicate that a group had hired the upstairs room for a party. They are investigating the possibility of it being the handover of a large drug-deal as a large amount of heavily-cut nartotics were found on the scene. Police are warning locals to stay away from any drugs being sold in the area - the substances it was cut with are potentially lethal.
Police have stated that they are disappointed with the amount of information they have to work with and have appealed for help from eye-witnesses - many of whom had already fled before the Polie arrived. CCTV footage from within the pub has laregely been unhelpful as the only working camera was covering the bar till.
Police are appealing for anyone who can help to call 01642 ******. Anyone recognising the photofits below are urged to contact the number above.

-Local Lawyer Missing-
Local Lawyer Mr. John Kline is presumed Missing after not turning up for Important Cases during the Last week.
Local police are requesting that Any member of the Public who may of seen Mr Kline in the Last Week to come forward with Information.
-Unusual Bird Migration-
Ornithologists in the area were confused by the mass migration of every seagull in Hartlepool Marina to Captain Cook's Square in Middlesbrough on July 11th. The birds appeared to be almost standing vigil for 24 hours before returning to the harbour. Apart from leaving the square in a mess the birds did not cause a problem for people shopping in Middlesbrough town centre, though one shopper was so upset they said the situation was like something out of Alfred Hitchcock's horror film The Birds.
The Council had been considering calling in hawks to deal with the problem but the handlers refused to release the hawks due to the size, number and aggressive nature of gulls.
-Increase in Violent Assaults-
Cleveland police have stated that they will be increasing patrols by CCTV equipped vans around Middlehaven and the dock areas after a series of assaults over the last few weeks. There have been several incidences of mugging and violent attack on people walking home or towards the railway station late at night.
All of the people injured in the attacks have required hospital treatment following severe blood-loss. Police have said that the mugger or muggers have silently approached their victims from behind before stabbing them and dragging them to the floor. The Police do not yet have any descriptions to work on as all of the victims lost consciousness very early in the attacks. Blood tests have cleared the use of any drugs or chemicals in the attacks.
As a result of these vicious attacks, in addition to increasing violence between rival drug gangs, the Police have urged people to take more care across Cleveland. They suggest that people travel in groups after dark, stick to well-lit main streets and to be cautious of anyone they are not familiar with. The Police have promised an increased presence on the streets and urge anyone with any information to come forward. Information can be left anonymously with the investigation team on 01642-******.
-Weird Teesside article: Ghost Sighted Again-
A photograph taken by some friends on a night out in town has shown some remarkable results. In the background of the image you can clearly see a translucent child following someone down the street. The child matches the description given of a similar ghost seen several months ago in a local school.
Experts have examined the photo to rule out the possibility of reflections and it was taken on a digital phone camera in the middle of the street so it cannot be a double exposure.
Despite good street lighting the person being followed is not easy to identify. Weird Teesside is requesting the person in the photo to contact us at our usual address or anyone who recognises the person to do so too.

-Local teenager missing-
The parents of local girl Carol Howden, aged 18, have appealed for help in finding their daughter. The girl failed to return home in Marton after travelling to Middlesbrough by bus on Sunday morning. Her parents say that she had gone to meet some new friends but failed to return that evening. Her parents contacted the Police on Monday morning as she would occasionally stay out all night and forget to call but they became worried when she failed to answer her mobile phone. They appealed for any sightings of Carol to be reported to the police and their message to Carol was "Please just ring home, you're not in trouble we just want to know you are alright".
She was last seen wearing a black dress, black stockings, black leather coat and boots.

-Animal Rights Activists in Middlesbrough?-
A local taxidermy company baswed near Victoria Street had its offices destroyed this week in what could possibly have been an attack by an animal rights group - though none have come forward to take credit.
One of the staff arrived on Friday morning to find the door ripped off and a scene of utter devastation inside. An estimated £30,000 in damage was done to stock, equipment and chemicals stored on the premises but we were unable to contact the owner for comment.

-MIMA Problems Continue-
The MIMA in Middlesbrough Town Centre continues to be plagued by acts of petty vandalism and obscene grafitti. Several of the external walls have had to be repainted and sections of glass have been replaced. The PR Manager for the Centre stated "We don't know what issue these people have with the Centre. We are here to bring some culture and art to the town but all these people are doing is burdening the local taxpayers. We have asked the Police to examine CCTV footage of the area as the damage is becoming a serious issue".

-Local Man Stabbed-
A local man is dead following an attack somewhere near Khan's restaurant on Borough Road. The stabbing took place on the evening of May 28th. The man stumbled into the restaurant and staff there asked him to leave thinking he was drunk when he collapsed to the floor bleeding from a single stab-wound to the stomach.
An ambulance was called but he was pronounced dead on arrival at James Cook University Hospital. There is speculation that this was part of a turf-war caused by ever-decreasing drug prices in the area. Police are following up a number of leads as part of an ongoing investigation.
A number of people are believed to have left the restaurant before Police arrived. Anyone with any information relating to this incident are asked to contact the police on 01642 ****** particularly if they think they may have witnessed the attack itself.
-Green Crimes-
An announcement was released by Teesside County Court today stating that anyone given community service sentences over the next 6 months will be involved in environmental tasks to include keeping the streets clean, work with maintaining the local parks and other green causes.
A spokesman said “We hope that by getting the offenders to give something back to the community and help the environment at the same time we will make Middlesbrough a nicer, greener place to live.”
-Community-Minded Individuals Sought-
A public meeting is to be held in the hall of The Holy Name of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Linthorpe on Sunday July 1st at 3pm. The organisers have particularly requested attendance from members of the local Police and Fire Services as well as Community and Street Wardens, but anyone who would like to help their local community are welcome to come along and get involved.
-Sick vandals hit graveyard-
Vandals have removed an ornate statue from a grave in Linthorpe cemetery. A member of the public spotted that the statue was missing on Sunday afternoon. It is not known whether it has been stolen or destroyed.
The Friends of Linthorpe Cemetery have been putting in much hard work, and organised fundraising events to help pay for the restoration of the cemetery, so this vandalism is a real blow.
Jilly Meredith, a member of the group said: "It really is despicable, and I hope that anyone who knows anything about this mean act gets in touch with the police." Mrs Meredith, who is writing a book on the history of people buried in the cemetery, appealed for the vandals to return the statue.
-Vigilante Attacks Continue?-
Cleveland police have expressed concern that vigilantes are at work in the streets of Middlesbrough. Last night they condemned the actions of anyone taking the law into their own hands.
The police were called to an incident near the Isaac Wilson public house in Middlesbrough late on Tuesday night (12th June) by Mr Barry Wollems the Duty Manager. Mr Wollems was emptying the bottle bins when he saw a man slumped in the alleyway near to the premises.
Mr Wollems told the Gazette “I saw the man slumped in the alley and went over to them to ask them to move on. It was only when I got closer to him that I saw he was covered in blood and deep cuts, so I rang 999 on my mobile.”
A Police spokeswoman said today “We can confirm that a suspected drug-dealer was found dead at the scene, we can make no further statement at this time”. A witness expanded by saying "He cat been cut to shreds, it was just awful. He looked like one of the kids that Freddy Krueger bloke killed in those Nightmare films.”
The police are thought to be concerned that who ever did this may have been trying to recreate scenes from films and hope that this will not start a wave of copycat attacks. This is the second assault on a suspected drug dealer in the area within a month. Police are looking into any links between the attacks.

Calling All JobSeekers An announcement has been made that two new call centres will soon be opening up to cover new government housing legislation. These prestidgeous contracts are creating 300 new jobs currently being filled at Preston Farm and a whopping 800 jobs needing to be filled in Darlington. The head of the contact centres, said the move demonstrated the company's commitment to the North-East. The move is also to include further vacancies in varoius support positions.
Local councillor Jeffries said "The shift from heavy industry to contact centre work continues but any form of employment in the area is welcome. With the growing number of people being trained in this area we could even hope to see more business opening up sites here but the landscape around us will always remind us of our industrial roots".
Having a Whale of a Time
A private marine research company, Blue Reef Aquarium, has opened the doors of it's Hartlepool facility to the public for a weekend. The company are celebrating the arrival of its newest member of staff; a killer-whale that finally has all of the required permits to be used for research purposes.
Staff celebrated by the open pool housing the whale and stated that the initial tests were very promising but they were waiting for him to settle in before doing anything more serious. They also wished to reassure the public that the animal was in no danger, would not be harmed by the tests they have planned and would eventually be released back into the wild.
MIMA - Art Attracts Criticism
The MIMA building in Middlesbrough town centre has come under fire over the last two weeks with a poster campaign appearing across the town. The opposition group have objected to the huge cost of the art centre. They have stated that it was a massive and unnecessary expense which has ended up greatly over-budget in order to line the pockets of councillors and builders.
In a statement the opposition group said "We, the taxpayers, are paying for the entertainment of outsiders, people in this town were never asked if they wanted this gallery. They were simply told of it." Whilst the gallery did open late and to a luke-warm local reception, MIMA's manager has sent out assurances that the local community has benefited greatly and that the gallery has placed Middlesbrough firmly on the map as a cultured town ready for city status.
Rumours of a recent refurbishment of the executive boardrooms so soon after opening has only added fuel to the debate.
Fly-tippers dumping their rubbish along country lane
The local council has pledged to crack down on fly-tippers who are ruining a country lane. The problem is so bad that, at times, residents living there have been unable to get into their homes.
It seems the lane is being targeted by people who have been turned away from the Whessoe Road tip for trying to dispose of trade waste. Residents have even reported human waste being dumped at the site, one claimed to have seen blood but this report is as yet unconfirmed. On other occasions, large quantities of wire have been set on fire to burn off the rubber and access the copper. Darlington Borough Council has said it is planning to increase patrols around the area in a bid to catch the culprits.
Streets of Middlesbrough - Could There Be A Silver Lining?
A local Police representative has caused outrage in the community by making the shocking suggestion that the recent increase in drugs availability may have actually had some positive side effects. Whilst the conflict between local dealers continues the falling prices have reduced the levels of general theft and prostitution; two areas where the region has always had a poor record.
Only once local crime figures are released can a proper comparison be drawn and used by the police to assess the true picture of how crime in Middlesbrough is changing.
DEAD WOMAN HAD NO HEART
News has come from Lincoln that an elderly lady found dead in her home with her heart apparently removed by surgery was suffering from an advanced and terminal cancer, and that she had twice tried to take her own life. An autopsy of the body revealed that the heart was removed after death, and that death was of natural causes.
"She just went to sleep" said a hospital spokesman "as far as we have been able to determine her passing was of natural causes, and was completely painless". Lincolnshire Constabulary are treating the death as suspicious and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Lost Sonnet Or Hoax?
The academic world is in debate over an unexpected find in Stratford-upon-Avon today; is the sheet of scribbled notes, apparently from Shakespeare' s era, a fragment of a lost sonnet by the Bard himself or a clever hoax?
Celia Franks, visiting Stratford from Massachusetts, USA, was picnicking by the river Avon when the page, blown by the wind, landed on her rug.
She said, "My first thought was that it was a flyer for a performance, but I quickly realized this was handwritten." Thinking that someone, perhaps a student, may own or need the notes, Miss Franks took it to a local tourist information centre and there assistant Roger Mitchell, who has a degree in Shakespearean studies, identified the handwriting as imitating that of the Bard.
He said, "I took it to some experts, and they think it's genuine - but, of course, it will take a lot of tests to know for sure."
Currently the page of notes - possibly Shakespeare' s work - is being examined by local scholars and is considered the property of Miss Franks but if the genuine owner steps forward with proof of ownership she says she will willingly hand it over to them.
"If no one steps forward, and if it's genuine, I intend to donate it to a museum over here, where it can be seen by the public. If it's not, it's coming home with me - I can't think of a better souvenir!"
<A photograph/video footage accompanies this story, showing the smiling Miss Franks holding the sheet of notes.>
Stolen Car Returned After Twelve Years - And Serviced!
Father of two Jamie Craig of Inverness was proud of his new car so he remembers clearly the day it was stolen.
"It was the first car we'd bought as a couple" he says, "I had just started a new job, and Julie, my wife, was three months pregnant with our first child, Haleigh. We'd only had the car for a few weeks, and we took it out for a spin in the hills. It was a lovely day, and we stopped for a short walk in a beauty spot - of course, we locked the car. But when we came back, it was gone."
The police were unable to find Mr Craig's stolen car and there was no trace of the thieves; the car seemed to have vanished without a trace. Mr Craig claimed on his insurance, and eventually got the money to get a replacement, just in time to take Julie to the hospital in her last month of pregnancy.
But now he says, "After twelve years, it's back!"
On Friday local police discovered the abandoned car in the exact spot it was stolen from twelve years ago, as good as new.
Mr Craig says, "I thought I was dreaming when the police returned the car to me. Then I thought it was some kind of joke - I was looking for a television crew to pop up any second." He gave the car over to police custody; "I had to, really. I'd claimed the insurance on it, so I couldn't just keep it."
Police inspections revealed no fingerprints whatsoever, but there were some oddities.
"Everything in the car was as I'd left it twelve years ago - but everything had been cleaned! They even found an old sweet wrapper - it looked like it'd been ironed."
In fact, the entire car had been cleaned, inside and out - even the engine was clean and the car appeared never to have been used, even still having the original tax disc.
"There is one odd thing about it, though." says Darren, and he pointed out to us the mileage. It was reset to zero. "How did they manage that?"
There was no CCTV at the location the car was taken from and returned to and police remain baffled.
This mysterious story has a happy ending, though; Mr Craig's insurance company has allowed him to keep the car and the money claimed as so much time has passed since the original theft, and the car is working perfectly.
<A photograph/video footage accompanies this story, showing the happy Craig family and their returned car.>
Missing Man Returns After Twenty Years
Forty-five year-old John Drummond of Hove disappeared on a family rambling
trip to the Sussex Downs in August 1987, leaving behind his distraught
wife, Marion, and his three sons. A happy family man, Mr Drummond had left
his wife and children briefly to scout for a picnic location during a walk
and simply never returned - until last week.
The Drummond family searched far and wide for him in the intervening years but their efforts, and the extensive work of friends, the police and national homeless and missing persons charities came up with nothing - not even a trace of his possible whereabouts.
But the family never gave up hope and their dedication was rewarded last week when local police contacted them with the news that John had been found wandering on the Downs near to where his family last saw him, in a state of confusion and apparently wearing the same clothes as he has been on the day on which he vanished, almost twenty years ago.
The Drummond family don't currently want to talk to the press, but they have reported that John appears to be well, although extremely confused. He is in good health but seems to have no recall of his lost twenty years.
Police and local social services are theorizing that Mr Drummond had suffered from sudden amnesia on the day of his disappearance and has been living an alternative life for the past twenty years - a life which recently he's had a need to forget, and has returned to his old life.
The family has issued a picture of John and wants to know if anyone anywhere recognizes him, so they can piece together what has happened to him over the last two decades. If you can assist, please call this police helpline number: XXX-XXX-XXXX.
<Two photographs accompany this story; one from 1987, just before Mr Drummond's disappearance, and one from after his return. Oddly, he looks as if he hasn't aged between the two pictures, though he is happy and smiling in the first one and looks clearly confused and shocked in the second.>

Violence on the streets: By Jermaine Greel
Street crime in Middlesbrough is nothing unusual; in fact it’s sadly an altogether too common occurrence. It’s no wonder there have been recent calls for vigilantes to take to the streets, something this journalist wishes to discourage.
But of late it’s gotten out of hand, petty theft has dropped, but clashes between gangs of youths on the street are getting much more frequent and much bloodier. April 1st was the beginning of a massive attempt by some group or organisation to muscle in on Middlesbrough and surrounding areas. Drugs are now easy and cheap to come by, anything that takes your fancy, which is where the problem is starting. The other gangs can not compete, so they try to protect their income as best they can, with violence being one of the first resorts.
Things seem to be escalating out there and a lot of people are now so scared that they are refusing to come out of their homes, fearing either junkies or violent criminals marauding the streets.
I suggest to People, Do not Go On To The Streets, Do not Take Things Into Your Own Hands.
Financier Open their Doors
By Hermun Geshwin
A group of financiers called Farthing & Oakly have recently opened a new office in the Little Town of Middlesbrough. This northern town is an odd site for such a venture but as the pair have said, the town has a personal place in their hearts and in this computer age you can run a company like this from anywhere in the world.
Such fore sight as this is to be welcomed and it is hoped that they can provide inspiration to other budding entrepreneurs.
Rapist Dies In Suspicous Circumstances
By Robert Anderson
A man who was disturbed in the act of raping a poor girl on the banks of the Tees was later found dead in what Police say were very suspicious and unusual circumstances. The poor victim had blacked out under the force of the attack and had no idea what had happened although Police confirm that she has been cleared of any wrong doing at this time.
We have been left to speculate some what on the exact happenings but it would appear to be some kind of vigilante attack. With out further comment from the police though we can neither confirm nor deny these rumours.

Judge Thomas’s Killer Caught:
By Raymond Trevelyn
Detectives have arrested a member of the Judge Thomas’ police Guard on charges of murdering the judge. Little has been revealed about how the case was solved, but it seems that the suspect’s brother was sentenced harshly by the Judge and then committed suicide in jail and the suspect blamed him for this death. Exactly how this was planned and executed has not been revealed at this time, although death was officially recorded as electrocution to add further spice to a glorious whodunnit.
MIMA Announce New Exhibition:
By Bryan Sullivan
A new exhibition of pieces will be at the Middlesbrough Institute for Modern Art with a run starting mid July. Pieces include some by notable artists Edvard Munch, Jackson Pollock and David Smith.
This is indeed a wonderful achievement for the gallery only recently opened, and hopefully it should help spring board it into the public conciousness.

Virtuous Vigilante:
I’m writing to show my horror at the recent rise in crime in Englands fair and pleasant cities. People only had to be scared of the monsters in the shadows at night, but now we are terrified of the beasts inside each other,
Unlike Newcastle, we don’t have a noble paragon of virtue like ‘The Hand of God’ to protect us and the police seem powerless to protect us.
Perhaps someone will step up to the challenge and make the streets safe again.
A Concerned Citizen.
Editors comment:
I agree that our streets are unsafe these days, we used to be able to leave our doors unlocked and our children could roam the streets happily. I’m not sure personally if vigilantism is the right choice, but I do feel the police could do a lot more.

Ritual Killings Continue:
By Robert Anderson
The bodies of two more young girls we’re found late last night on the York moors having endured what some are claiming to be a ritualistic death similar to other more recent cases.
The remains are believed to be those of Ann Marie Cox and Sara Phillips who both went missing on the moors recently. The two were found very close to one another near Rosedale Abbey but in quite different circumstances. Sara Philips was found discarded in a ditch less than a mile from the abbey, her body ‘roughly mutilated’ according to police, where as Ann Marie Cox was found, cleaned, dressed and left in a nearby ditch with a note attached to it. The police have released the contents of the note, it reads “The ones responsible for this will be found and dealt with most severely. I am sorry for not being able to save her.” It was then signed “A. Friend”.
Police wish to question the individual who left the note and are strongly discouraging people from going vigilante in the pursuit of the killer or killers.
This has however left the case of a as yet un named individual accused of a previous murder in this fashion more than a little shaky, with nearly identical killings taking place whilst he is in custody. This combined with Judge Thomas’ murder last month has left the case quite flimsy.
More Supernatural Happenings on Teeside:
By Audrey Curtis
Teeside has had further sightings of a mysterious spectre of sorts. It appears in a few forms but always an inquisitive nature asking how and why everything works. So far they haven’t caused any trouble and in fact have stirred up a hive of interest regarding the phenomenon. I myself have even had individuals asking for my opinion on them and other things.
The continuing ritual killings, two this month, have also brought morbid sorts to the area hoping to chase a juicy story, and with some vigilantes getting closer than others it appears. Well I believe there to be a blood cult out there on the moors, those that are prepared to listen to me, take heed of my warning and be very careful up there. What ever their reasons, I do not believe they are finished as such killers almost always develop a taste for it.
Prison Break Latest:
By David Sinclair
The individuals that were sprung from the Holme House prison are still currently on the loose. As yet no one knows how they even managed to get out of the prison and no leads have come to light on finding them. Police are urging anyone with information that could lead to the being brought back into custody to come forward.
Gang Trouble:
By David Sinclair
Police were called to central Middlesbrough last night in order to break up a dispute between two rival gangs of thugs that had congregated there. Eye witnesses report that it seemed to be a clash over turf, with speculation on whether it was drug related.
In the end there were only two arrests but no one was officially charged and the incident ended without bloodshed. Police have hinted that this was just a symptom of recent troubles within the local gangs, which has shown a worrying trend of late.
Police No Closer To Solving Thomas Murder:
By Raymond Trevelyn
Police are still no closer to solving how Judge Thomas was murdered only a month ago. No point of entry or exit has been located and the only possible killer is his frail wife who could not possibly have stabbed him and cleaned herself up in the time it took officers to open the door.
A thorough post mortem is currently in progress although as one officer said, ‘Not sure it’ll help much, I mean it was fairly obvious he was stabbed in the heart. It’s the forensic boys that need to answer some questions like how the killer got there in the first place.”
MIMA Opens:
By Bryan Sullivan
The Middlesbrough Institute for Modern Art (MIMA) has officially opened, and has had a very successful open day with many visitors taking advantage of it being free to view for its opening weekend.
In my opinion the building itself is a work of art, often better than the pieces it contains with some lovely architectural touches. The art itself is a little mediocre at this time I feel, but as the building has only just opened and has yet to establish it self, it’ll be hard work to attract the high quality collections it deserves.
