The Short of It

This is a loose organization of Antiquarians who find that sharing information and information resources is the best course of action in this growing age of diversity. With communication technology being so easily accessed and the cost of shipping relatively low, The A.B.E provides a contact list for these like minded Changelings to reach others and share what's available. While this organization is primarily for Antiquarians, If members of other Kiths or Seemings show sufficient merit and have an Antiquarian sponsor the group will often let them join.

The History of the Exchange

#1 The first rule of the Book Exchange is, you do not talk about the Book Exchange.

#2 The Second Rule of the Book Exchange is, you DO NOT talk about the Book Exchange.

#3 If some one says stop, goes limp, or taps out, you are at the wrong meeting.

One day not too long ago Joel Bibleo and Bible were discussing the state of the world. Both had been friends for some time by now and both had the same tendencies towards learning and study. Though there was much neither new they both had areas of expertise that shored up the others lack. This gave them the idea that perhaps they should organize others of their Kith, a network to allow them all to share their knowledge and talents, as well as their libraries. Thus the first stage of the Antiquarian Book Exchange Began.

Code Of Conduct

1. Treat all other members of the Exchange with respect.

  • We joined because we all share a similar need for brotherhood with like minded individuals. If you don't like someone in The A.B.E at least be Polite and avoid sounding condescending. Be an asshole to everyone else if you want, but not to each other.

2. If you borrow a book from another member return it to them in the same condition you got it.

  • Really now, we shouldn't need to explain this.
