The Nature of the Beast
Know one knows who exactly The Bagman is. It's known that he came out of the hedge a year ago, and that in that time he's racked up a fair body count across several states, and into Canada. No one ever finds the bodies of his victims, just a headless doll made of some sort of straw or wood. The lost know him as a relentless killer of fetches, as a being that will let nothing and no one get in his way. He has been known to kill animals and family members to get at the fetch that is his current target. He is ruthless in his hunting, and savage in his executions. He is not a being to be taken lightly, and his aid is not to be sought without peril. He is The Bagman, and when he hunts his prey, they do not escape.

Eyes as Dead as Doll's Eyes
The Bagman looks like an old, beat up scarecrow. He wears patchy clothes under a beat up jacket, and wears an old hat over a burlap mask. Straw can be seen poking out through various joints, and he smells strongly of cold Autumn nights. He moves quietly, and does not speak at all.
The Bagman's mantle is just like the bagman himself. Unsettling. The rustle of fallen leaves can be heard, and a cold, damp breeze blows about him at all times. The sound of crows cawing can be heard at times, but by the time you hear them, it's already too late.
Making the Monster
The bagman first escaped from the hedge about a year ago. It is unknown how he became a member of the scarecrow ministry, but be took to it very quickly. It is said that his first victim was Shannon Caan, the lover of the mirrorskin known as John Doe. According to police records, which were backed up by John at the time, the body had been replaced by a straw doll with the head of a plastic doll. The police questioned John, then released him due to lack of any real evidence to support any claims of John being the killer. The only description that john could give them was a large man that was dressed like a scarecrow. He claimed not to have heard anything, as he had been asleep on the couch at the time, but woke up to see the killer leaving. Changelings in the town were vocal about the capture of the bagman, but soon became silent as they heard of the next victim.
The Victim was an 18 year old med student who was trying to become a heart surgeon. Once again no evidence was found at the scene, except for a life size doll made of cornstalks and what appeared to be the head of a stuffed monkey. When the police veiwed stills from the security camera in the rear of the building, they saw a Large man fitting the exact description that John had given them entering the building, and leaving the building carrying a large dufflebag. Thus, The Bagman was officialy christened. Changelings were cautious about the bagman, as they knew that he had just killed a fetch. They were uncertain how to react to a madman that was hunting down fetches and killing them for no reason. Some were against the actions taken, others were for the actions. A slim number of changelings decided to try to contact the bagman, to see if he would kill their fetches. The bagman never acknowledged the contact, but the fetch always ended up dead.
Where is he now?
Police are still searching for the bagman, but have no real leads. Any fabric samples taken from the scenes always come back showing normal mass produced fabrics. No footprints or fingerprints have been found at any of the crime scenes in any of the 8 locations. Police fear that he has gone to ground and may not surface again. Changelings are breathing a bit better, knowing that a maniac isn't around at the moment. The bagman isn't saying much about that, but then again, the bagman never says anything.

If the bagman kills your fetch, he takes a part of your soul with him. He will always know where you are after that.
If anyone manages to figure out who The Bagman's fetch is, and kill it, they will have complete control over the bagman. Some say that if you kill the fetch of the bagman, you can kill him.
