Back Story

When these four girls began to grow into their middle ages, they decided that the growing trend of women to be burgeoning house wives with suburban pursuits; was bullshit. So they formed their own kind of "Bridge Club". Every Thursday night they would get together at someone's house; break out the cards, the bourbon, and the cigars.

The air was almost always blue, with either curses or cigar smoke; back then. As time went on, these women became something akin to sisters; though they never did call it that. Some things run deeper than definitions; and that was the way of the Bridge Club.

The first to go was Miracle Milly; the Spring Sovereign from 1966 to 1998 having died from complications of cancer. After that Zelda Swanson and Tough Trudy died together in the Battle of the Bronx last year. Now the only one left at the table is Molly Moonglow.

Zelda's Return

In Autumn 2007, leaves began appearing in the pockets and under pillows of the Lost of New-New Amsterdam as Zelda began appearing in their dreams. Through the effort and cunning of several freehold members, the leaves were gathered and Zelda's form appeared from them. She lays in a coma at the Apple Clinic at Reverie, visited daily by Molly.
