The Crimson Margrave

The Crimson Margrave is ruler over a pleasure-house reminescent of a Hellfire club. The majority of the Fairest kiths, and the non-combative Elementals, were offered as courtesans to any visiting Gentry. The majority of the Wizened held by the Margrave are kept at work making new and interesting rooms, both for the use of the Gentry, and of the true reason Gentry visit: the arenas.
The Margrave takes all Beasts, Darklings, Ogres, most Elementals, Draconic Fairest, and any who have displeased the Margrave or his guests, and makes them fight in nightmarish arenas. Every battle is highly imbalanced, usually with one less intelligent but very strong predator, and one less intelligent but very canny prey. The strong predators tend to survive, and entertaining prey also tend to survive. If you cease to be either strong or entertaining, you don't last long. Fortunately, if you scream in interesting ways, this is also considered to be entertaining. The Muses are kept as commentators, and their tearful relaying of the battles are also a part of the entertainment. Each arena is crafted by the Wizened, along with any weapons or random items contained within. Each one is crafted from nightmares, either those of the Changelings themselves, or those of mortals, traded in from the visiting Gentry.
The ones most likely to escape from the Margrave are the gladiators, and they only know the title of their captor, and perhaps see the Muses' tearfully commentating.
Escaped Changelings
Any who escape will either be highly successful gladiators (and those they choose to help) or otherwise highly resourceful individuals, as the Wizened and Courtesans have no contact with others except under the watchful eye of Gentry. And indeed, many of the courtesans come to enjoy their slavery.
Silver Dan - Darkling Mirrorskin, highly successful gladiator during his time there, was as often placed as a predator as a prey before he escaped
Kisa - Beast Truefriend, placed in the arenas to cover her previous Keeper's debt, escaped with Dan
Attempted to Escape, Missing
Big Mick O'Reiley - Ogre Gargantuan from Freehold of the Seven Hills, recaptured during Adamant's folly, sold to the Margrave by The Lodge Master, planned escape with Dan
