The Divine
From Changeling Venue
Tilley's Divine Cafe Gallery is so different to anything else on offer, the place is guaranteed to permeate a positive vibe that will linger in the minds of customers until their next visit.
Hidden away in suburbia, Tilley's Divine Café permeates a bohemian, avant guard, culture that inspires local music and visual artists, and soothes the souls of public servants and workers with a taste for rustic jazz.
- "With elegant, dark wood fittings, a moody, deep red colour scheme, and soft jazz wafting between the old-fashioned booths lining the walls, there are some things essentially nostalgic and cinematic about Tilley's romantic atmosphere, reminiscent of a Hollywood film noir."

When The Divine opened its doors for the first time in January, 1984, 420 people turned up to cram into the venue that only had seats for 60 people. The café has grown in popularity ever since.
The building has been extended five times, eventually taking over the entire lower ground of the building. It was the first licensed outdoor venue in Australia, as well as being the first bar to ban indoor smoking, which occurred eight years before there were any actual laws in the place.
Yet the Divine hosts something much darker, lurking underneath...
Tilley and the handful of Courtless that manage The Divine, are also the guardians (gaolers?) of The Beast, a Gentry of terrible power with a taste for human flesh.
At the "Changing of the Seasons", whom ever is King or Queen for that season must be sacrificed to The Beast in order to maintain the bonds that keep him bound to to his prison under The Divine.
