The Dragonlord
From Changeling Venue
"'The King under the Mountain is dead and where are his kin that dare seek revenge?'"
"'Girion Lord of Dale is dead, and I have eaten his people like a wolf among sheep, and where are his sons sons that dare approach me?'"
"'I kill where I wish and none dare resist. I laid low the warriors of old and their like is not in the world today.'"
"'Then I was but young and tender. Now I am old and strong, strong, strong.'"
- J.R.R. Tolkien, "The Hobbit"

Background
In the Western mythology, a dragon is a force of chaos, evil and destruction. They are typically associated with greed, anger, and immense physical and magical might. The Dragonlord embodies all of these qualities, taken to their extreme - an unstoppable force that exists only to spread terror and death.
Description
The Dragonlord usually assumes one of two shapes. One is of a titanic warrior clad in scale armor, his face hidden behind a dragon-faced helmet. The other - a gigantic dragon, with wings spanning the horizon and a fiery breath capable of incinerating continents. In both shapes, his scales scintillate all colors of the spectrum.
The Dragonlord constantly wages war against other Fae Lords, not for conquest or plunder (however, he considers those the added benefits), but for the sheer joy of wreaking havoc and destruction. He is rumored to have reduced several other domains to slag and ashes. In his "human" form, he is a cunning strategist; in his dragon form, he is a terrible sight to behold on a battlefield.
The Dragonlord's wrath is matched only by his greed. In his immense horde, jewels and precious metal are intermixed with pain, suffering, tears, and last breaths of his enemies. Needless to say, The Dragonlord never misses an opportunity to add to it.

Allies and Enemies
At any time, the Dragonlord is at war with at least one other Fae Lord, and he doesn't mind taking on several opponents at once. He has surprisingly few enemies - mostly due to the fact that those who become his enemies usually do not last long. Those rare few who had proven themselves powerful enough to survive his wrath tend to keep their distance from him.
The Dragonlord is known to have allied himself with other Fae Lords on several occasions. Such alliances had always ended with The Dragonlord's armies obliterating his allies' domains.
Domain
The Dragonlord's domain is a vast desert of cracked rock and sand the color of clotted blood, strewn with charred remains of armies that marched against him. In the middle of it stands a huge volcano, with several flights of The Dragonlord's "pets" constantly circling it, on watch for intruders.
Inside the slopes of the mountain is a nightmarish labyrinth of caverns where The Dragonlord's packs feed, sleep and breed. The place is a close resemblance of Hell, filled with blood-red light from the lava flows and the shrieks and roars of the dragons that inhabit it.
The Dragonlord's lair is in the largest cavern, in the very heart of the volcano. There, on a basalt island in the middle of the sea of lava, he sleeps on his treasure horde.
Durance
The lucky ones that are taken by the Dragonlord are used as food for his dragons. Among the rest, it is arguable who has the worst fate: those that have their human bodies, minds and souls taken away from them, and turned into one of the Dragonlords "pets", or those that are made to endlessly toil and care for his packs.
The captives usually end up being:
- Beasts - dragons, draft or war animals.
- Darklings - mostly Tunnelgrub slave diggers.
- Elementals - Firehearts and Earthbones are abundant as Elements of the Dragonlord's domain. Airtouched are less common, and tend to favor the Hurricane or Smoke variety. Others are unlikely.
- Fairest - Draconics, obviously. Those "lucky" ones who ended up as the Dragonlord's lieutenants or consorts.
- Ogres - slave labor, or cannon fodder.
- Wizened - weapon smiths, foot soldiers, chief diggers. Just barely above the rest of the slaves.
Real World
The Dragonlord never ventures outside the Hedge. It is not known if there are any Loyalists working for him; however, such Loyalists are always a possibility.
Escapees
Escaping from the Dragonlord's domain is almost impossible - one would have to evade the sentries both inside and outside the mountain, and then cross the infinite desert. It is more likely to escape by air, or during one of the Dragonlord's numerous campaigns. So far, the following Lost had made it out:
