Overview

Titles: Lord of Blackthorn Wood; Dainreich The Dragoon; Archduke of Terror

Persona: The Dragoon is a hunter and keeper of souls, cruelties in a thousand kindnesses and caresses in boneshaking terror. His kennels are extensive, his hounds renowned, but it is whispered that the famed kennels of the Dragoon have been the breeding ground of a trouble that has not yet seen an end for the Gentry. That the Lord of Blackthorn Wood is perhaps not lord and master of all that he surveys

Appearance: He remains shrouded in an aura of menace and mystery, preferring to cloak himself thusly with smiles and the parody of nonpareil society; a very thin, beautiful veil atop fathomless depths and endless hunger reminiscent of the very woods he claims as sovereign.

Domain

The Dragoon lives within a palatial manor set deep within the heart of his murky wood. No defensible keep with ramparts and thick stone walls, this, his manor is surrounded by a few acres of meandering gardens and fountains, complete with their own hedge labyrinth, this house is a testament to his own fearlessness. No fear of the depth of the wood surrounding him, of which he claims lordship and mastery and indeed regularly hunts within, (though he never returns with much game to speak of). No fear of invasions by others amongst the Gentry, seeking to encroach upon his lands.

Durance

Rumor abounds of the wild, changeling things that live deep within his woods. Some say that his kennels are not the only training grounds by which beasts are bred for his amusement and service, and others say that he keeps a flock of treemen to maintain the wood, mastering it, by mastering them. One thing is eminently certain where the Dragoon is concerned, and that is that he does not speak of such things.
