The Eraser of Boundries

Overview: All that we may see or seem
This Other believes himself to be a scientist of sorts. The Eraser of Boundries does exactly that. He experiments with people to see if he can break down the differences between chosen concepts. For some, it may be as simple as making them only able to see in shades of gray to break down light and dark, or as complex as removing a person's sense of right and wrong. Within his domain, he is MASTERFUL with dreams and subjective time. To preserve his test subjects, he makes extensive use of dream shaping, allowing him to put his subjects through any number of situations to break them down.
He doesn't do any of this out of any inherent cruelty, although he may appear cruel to some of his subjects as part of their experiment. He does this out of a permanent curiousity with the limits of the human psyche. He chooses his test subjects based on his needs. If he wants to address the boundry between lust and loathing, he might steal a prudish churchgoing wife. To experiment with pleasure and pain, he might choose an innocent schoolgirl. For love and hate, a man who's well liked and respected within his community. And so on.
Before his destruction, the Eraser of Boundries worked for the Lady of Burning Ice.
Demise: An End to the Dreaming
Noman often had dreams of killing The Eraser. The Gentry took great delight in waking the mirrorskin just at the moment of the deathblow, as though teasing him. Noman grew gradually more frustrated, but the more frustrated he grew, the more excited The Eraser seemed to become about his experiment. Noman was sure that there would be no end to this hellish torment.
Finally, during one of his dreams, Noman didn't wake up. His Keeper's corpse lay at his feet, but still, the dream did not end. Sure that this was just another test, another torment, Noman ran. He ran and ran, his feet carrying him through the hedge. Finally, exhausted, he fell to his feet, unable to run anymore.
Noman still isn't sure that he actually killed the Eraser. There will always be some small niggling voice in the back of his mind, telling him that this is all just a dream, and he will see that awful grin as he wakes up.
Those Kept: Changed for better or worse
- Noman - Noman struggles to tell the difference between the real world and the dreaming world, the line having been stripped from him.
- Paisley - To this young girl, there is no line between pleasure and pain. They are the same thing, and she delights in them both.
- Krystal - A tragedy, a muse incapable of feeling emotions herself. The Eraser gradually increased how much she felt everything until one day, she could feel nothing at all.
- Ziggy - The lines of gender are blurred for this young lost.
