Aliases: Erinyes, Daughters of Night, Avengers of Wrong, Eumenides Unless Changelings are willing to incur the wrath of the Furies, they refer to them as "The Venerable Ones," "The Kind Ones," or "The Wrathful Ones."
Summation: Each member of The Furies is sworn to punish criminals in the Changeling world. Furies are all female members of the Summer or Autumn Court who vow to avenge those who have not escaped Arcadia, as well as those who had died trying. Oathbreakers, loyalists, murderers, and other criminals cringe at the thought of being pursued by the Furies. The justifiable killing of True Fae and Fetches is never considered murder, but retribution of the crimes against the Changelings. Vengeance is theirs for the wrongs done to all of the Changelings.

The Fiction
The Facts
The Furies of Roman mythology were the Avenging dieties. They were also called the Erinyes in Greek Mythology. These three sisters, were said to be the daughter of Nyx, or Night. Descriptions vary, but the sisters are fierce looking with snakes in their hair or at their command, possibly with wings, and sometimes with blood dripping from their eyes. Other accounts have them as having snakes for hair and black skin. The Furies would pursue a criminal relentlessly regardless of any mitigating circumstances. It is said that Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, finally had a temple built to the Furies calling them Eumenides (Kind Ones) to appease them.
Purpose
The Furies are charged with seeking out and exacting punishment for criminals in the Changeling world.
