The following information is subject to change, but I do not at this time foresee any problems with this writeup.' Premise

The Haven is a charming, 6 bedroom Victorian Bed and Breakfast nestled in the foothills of Pasadena, California, in Los Angeles County. It has been open since Fall of 2000 and caters to enough Mortal guests to pay the bills and basic costs of operation. Otherwise, its beds and rooms are available to Changelings, usually free of cost - especially if the Changeling is newly escaped from Arcadia and is having a hard time adjusting to reality once again.

Attached to the inn and less well known is a small network of underground caves which serves as longer term Changeling residences and acts as a bolt hole in case of trouble topside.

The Haven is owned and protected by Mother Rowan.

Theme

The themes of The Haven are compassion and family. If a Changeling is in great need or seems to be suffering greatly, a warm bed and hot meal can be found at The Haven, among others who understand their plight.

  • Stephen Daedalus - Supporter, morally and sometimes financially
  • Pawn - Supporter, occasional finances, primarily IDs, transportation, and travel lodging

  • The Innkeepers - A member of the safe-house network.
  • The Brothers Grimm - The brothers Abel and Caine Grimm help finance The Haven.
  • Mother Rowan's Family - A network of Changelings who have stayed or currently stay at the safehouse and who have agreed to help and support The Haven and others in the Family, and to accept help from them should they require it.

  • Jimmy Quick - October 19 through December 7th, 2002, 2004, 2006
  • Nycto Feraz - Whenever he's in town, since early 2000 to present. Often offers to help the newly escaped to get where they are going.
  • Pawn - Whenever in the LA area, arrived shortly after Nycto, early 2001, and serves in similar functions.
  • Gilded - Has stayed upon occasion since late 2000 whenever business has brought him to town. Never stayed for long and always insists on paying.
