The Lure Master

The Lure Master fancies himself civilized Gentry. Though not as obsessed as other houndsman, he does enjoy a good hunt, or rather the prestige that comes with being among the elite of sportsman. He prefers things that are handsome and beautiful to look at as well as useful. He will not keep anything that does not please the eye. He chooses to hunt with fleet hounds of speed and grace as opposed to the brutish and unpleasantly loud baying hounds of other huntsman.
He hand picks his hounds and lures them through the Hedge with skills only a man of great charm and charisma can. For those of his kennels that live up to his expectations, life can be more pleasant than most changelings, for the Master does love his hounds; at least as much as Gentry can. It is even rumored that he once kept a hound in his very home. His fine sighthounds are never abused, beaten, or mishandled…as long as they perform well. Those hounds that don’t are taken to the woods and never seen again.
The Lure Master is extremely competitive and above all HATES to loose, be it the prey he’s after or the challenge of a rival. While enjoying the hunt, the Master is also involved in racing his hounds. His most prized dogs are those that excel in both areas of sport. He will never sell, trade, or otherwise bargain with his hounds for fear that someone else will best him with his own stock. He does not keep many animals but his small kennel is known to contain the most fleet of hounds.

Inspirations
The Hounds
Larka, Persian Greyhound (Saluki). Lead coursing hound, favoured by The Lure Master for her grace, beauty, drive to the kill, but over all her extream loyalty. The only hound in the kennel to be allowed in the Master's mannor, and famed for her speed and agility. Larka had never lost a quarry until attacked by a rival Fae's hounds and was injured beyond recovery. No longer able to run and therfore worthless, in her Master's eyes, she was abandoned and left to die.

It is rumoured that The Lure Master's hounds have never lost a quarry... until recently.
