Oaths and Purpose
On the whispering slice of the northern wind do I swear to uphold, maintain, expand and secure that which is the hidden pathway, to protect and provide aid to the innocent and serve the needs of the Great Court of Winter. Those in true need shall have my aid and those of my fellows to escape that which doth wish them harm.
I do swear to battle the dangers of the real world and the hedge to maintain the hidden pathway and seek out new track-ways, whilst at all times serving to protect and hold that which is the ivy bound web.
I do give my oath to be faithful, forthright and strong in the face of adversity for the assistance of others and to hold to this oath..
The Ivory Guild operates and maintains what has become known amongst some Winter Courtiers by such names as the 'Hidden Road', the 'Ivy Branched Path' and the 'Wayfarer's Run'. The Ivy Wreathed Path is made up of a number of Wayfaring Hollows set at varying locations within the Hedge, each with multiple doors leading to various freeholds, trods and private real world locations. Whilst members of the Guild often offer the use of their particular special services for tasks ranging from the mundane such as simple couriering to the more nefarious and delicate requirements of Changelings, at a price (known as 'the Wayfarer's Toll' they are sworn to aid those in true need. The network is primarily maintained as an escape route in times of trouble, war and strife. No toll is paid by the needy.
