Physical description
The sage is an ancient changeling, his wrinkled skin is thin as the parchment it closely resembles and his frail form is withered and bent with the passing of many years. his pale eyes are cloudy and he wears an antique pair of spectacles perched precariously on the end of his nose.
His mortal seeming on the few times he is seen outside the hedge appears to be an old man in his nineties in a frayed tweed suit with a pair of old fashioned spectacles.
Known History
The Sage has lived in the tees valley for around eighty years, reclusive and frail he has been the unofficial historian for decades hiding away in the freeholds library where he protects his precious books as if they were his children. He became lord of the winter court in the 2001 after the demise of the previous lord and ruled his court in its proper season until Ember Jack stopped the rightful passage of the seasons and declared that summer would rule uninterrupted. During the troubled years that followed the Sage spent most of his time locked away in the library with occasional forays out to attend meetings and conduct the duties of his station.
Now the civil war appears to have come to an end he has sent out proclamations to the nearby freeholds announcing the domain is safe once more and entreating changelings to return and rebuild. His health is failing and his time left on this world is coming to a close and he seems desperate to repair the shattered domain while he still has time.
