Appearance
The Stunted One appears to be a large halfling. He wears all sorts of clothing, but never the same outfit.... ever. He has a vast array of jewelry, said to hold any number of enchantments. He wears his jewelry to excess bedecking his hands in so many rings it's hard to imagine them being able to function properly, however he seems to have no problem with this. Bracelets hang loose on his wrists and his ears are covered in twisting rings of all metals imaginable and a few not. Malevolent eyes burn with a fierce intelligence and twisted malice amid a pasty squat face. The Stunted One frequently changes sizes. He can be anywhere from the size of a thumb to the size of a large dwarf depending on his mood, though never larger then 5 feet in height. He also takes great offense to anyone who mentions his size.
Personality
The Stunted One is a being of true malice. He captures mortals for the soul purpose of tormenting them through untold acts of humiliation. Many of his victims are chosen because of their prideful natures. The Varsity football team captain who boasts to his friends that he can get any girl he wants anytime or the Valedictorian who prides himself on his grades and looks down on those "less intelligent" than he, are both prime examples of the type of humans he would choose to kidnap. The Stunted Ones imagination knows no bounds. He holds Court with other True Fae every month, each Court is filled with atrocious acts of humiliation where his captives are put on display for the other Fae Lords. One of his most noted and favorite dishes are the bug tarts he serves at these events.
Domain
The Stunted One lives in a sprawling underground estate. The hallways and rooms are dirt walls magically reinforced to maintain their form. Subterranean insects and creatures roam his halls freely, it is not uncommon to see any sort of creepy-crawly skittering, slithering or lurking on the floor, walls or ceiling. However, there are a few noteworthy areas.
- The Court- The Court is the place where the monthly gatherings are held. It is a massive domed room containing hundreds of tables for his guests to sit and discuss what Faeries discuss. Throughout the tables are stages to display the various tortures that take place while the festivities go on.
- The Bug Lair – The Bug Lair is the place where all of the insects that The Stunted One uses are raised. A labyrinth of tunnels housing all sorts of insects, spiders occupy vast networks of web choked tunnels, termites make resident in giant hives, centipedes scurry everywhere underfoot and all sorts of unknown insects reside here as well. Skitterskulks and Venombites are common results of working in the Bug Lair.
- The Vault – The Vault is an extremely well guarded treasure vault where all of The Stunted One’s treasures are held. Endless tables laden with golden trinkets are constantly buffed by countless servants. Mounds of Tokens are counted by the inventory keepers and of course the entire area is patrolled by elite guards. The Vault can spawn all sorts Seemings depending on the tasks assigned.
Durance
Changelings that are under the Stunted One are required to perform all sorts of services. The majority of them are placed on display for the shows of humiliation The Stunted One has for his guests. The other primary jobs Changelings have are maintaining the Bug Lair; cooking the food for the gathers; Guarding or maintaining The Vault, or general security or housekeeping of the domain.
Seemings
All Seemings can come from this Fae Lord. Skitterskulks and Venombites can come from those maintaining the Bug Lair... Subterranean Beast Seemings can come from the environment. Darklings aplently can rise from the humiliating tortures and shadowy depths of The Stunted One's underground world. There is even potential for some Fairest or Wizened Seemings that guard the Vault or maintain the other mechanical aspects of the Fae Lord's Domain. Elementals of all kinds, though mostly Earthen Elementals are commonly produced. Ogres have come from this Fae Lord, though they are very uncommon.
Common Tortures
Fishing rotten eggs from a vat of sewage water. Eating all sorts of creepy-crawly/gross and gruesome things. Being locked in a very small space while scorpions or snakes are dumped into the space with you. Fae Trivia quizzes where the victim never gets any answer right ever and is punished for it. Cleaning out the latrines on display. Harvesting insects. Public floggings. Licking the feet of the various Fae Lords. Serving guests in the nude or in audacious outfits.
