The White City
From Changeling Venue
The White City Freehold traces its roots and takes its name from The Chicago World's Fair in 1893. Little is known about the history of the Freehold until sometime after World War II. There was at one point a large and impressive Hollow in the Hedge that roughly corresponded with the Hyde Park location of the World's Columbian Exposition.
The Hollow fell into great disrepair throughout most of the 20th Century until the late 90's when the Lost residents of Chicago decided to rehabilitate the area and reclaim it for their use. 10 years on the project is really kinda almost done.
