Went in. Paid once.

Came out. Paid twice.

Live life. Pay thrice.

The thorns hurt. The destroy souls. They take something, perhaps everything away from you as you are taken through the hedge. But in the end, they gave something back. Racing through them took determination, strength, courage, and a bit of desperation. In the thorns everything was lost. And then...the chance for a new life was regained.

Thorns' benevolent dictator, Laurel Thorn, rarely uses such flowery words to describe it. Thorns is the way to a future. A new future, a new home, without pain and without Them. At any cost.

Laurel drives forth this brave new world, directly supported by The Enthorned, and collaberating with those who share the dream. Those dreamers, the Sea of Thorns, grow as more Lost realize there is no home left to go to. It is time to make ones own home. A new future. New families. Those accepted in the Sea don't drown. It isn't Thorns way. In this wave of idealism sits the Thorn residence, the House of Thorns. Across from it on land is ThornHedge Apartments which exists to welcome in new Lost and give them a place to again seek home.

Nothing that would disturb that home is welcome in Thorns. Nothing at all.
