Concept: Debt settler, Hedge tracker, trouble shooter.
Overview: Elias is a quiet man, and has the annoying knack of attracting more attention than he ever wants. Though content to stay in the background and just do his work, he often finds his services are in high demand, especially by newly returned Lost. After he forged his own way back across the Hedge, Elias tried his best to make sense of what the world had become. People find him more than passing strange for a Lost, especially for a Fairest. He has little in the way of social graces, and is not especially handsome by most accounts. However, the common opinion shared by those who have dealt with Elias is that having him around is much like suddenly remembering you have a sharp knife in your pocket as you walk down a dark alley.
Mask: Elias looks like a fairly average guy. He is neither tall nor short, fat nor thin, beautiful nor ugly. He is almost always impeccably groomed, however, and frequently takes to wearing outlandish clothing when not at work. His mixed White/Tsalagi heritage gives him an odd nose and not-quite-pale skin tone, but it's nothing too unusual. All that most people remember of Elias are his eyes, which convey (often accidentally) his emotions clearly. A person is never unsure on where they stand with him once they see how he regards them.
Mein: With his hair looking like feathers spilling from a pitcher of water, his taloned hands and his yellow eyes, many mistake Elias for a Beast. However, he holds himself with an elegance and bearing that usually dispels that thought rather quickly. There is nothing feral in his Mein, but there is a sense of anger. Not an all-consuming primal rage, but instead a calculated, smoldering hate. Elias always gives the feeling of motion, of going somewhere, even when he is standing still. It's not a comfortable feeling to others, and Elias finds that more often than not people prefer to just give him a phone call rather than talk to him directly.
The other important things of note in Elias' mein are his hands. After several years (decades?) of torture, Mistress of the Parliament of Whispers was able to turn Elias' hands into nightmares. They are now seemingly made of flaking and cracking obsidian, forever shedding small, sharp shards at the smallest movement. Elias can no longer touch anything soft or delicate because of them.

Timeline
- 1947 - Elias Kalanu is born in San Diego, California.
- 1965 - Elias meets Meghan Martin while attending college at SDSU and falls in love with her.
- 1966 - Elias starts a roller-coaster relationship with Meghan, causing his life to spiral out of control. Takes up drug use and heavy drinking.
- 1967 - Relationship with Meghan comes to a halt after she attempts suicide and blames him in the note. Elias fails out of school.
- 1968 - Elias is lured to the Hedge either by Meghan Martin or a disguised agent of the Mistress of the Parliament of Whispers. He will never be sure which. He is captured in the Hedge and taken by the Mistress to her demesne.
- 2005 - Elias pulls himself through the Hedge, emerging near Tahlequah, OK.
- 2005 - Elias meets Race Ardent, travels with Race to California. They part ways, Race heading north and Elias heading south, to San Diego.
- 2006 - Elias leaves San Diego under mysterious circumstances, travels to the Freehold of the Seven Hills in Seattle, WA.
- 2006 - Elias meets back up with Race, and joins up with the Georgetown Stingrays.
- 2007 - Elias starts working for The Driftwood House as a landscaper and topiary crafter. Under the auspices of The Driftwood House he also helps newly arrived Lost find their way to sanctuary.
