Description:

Mask: Val appears to be a handsome man, tall and thin, with air of confidence. He wears a bowler hat and a Victorian style long coat. His shoes are polished to a shine, and his pants ironed. His silk tie is neatly tucked into his vest. He gives the appearance and impression of a person who is very intentional with regards to his appearance. His appearance is an allusion to his actions.

Mien: He is more gaunt and lanky than seems possible. His fingers and long and nimble, but his palms show callouses of hard work. A dark hammer of twisted metal and bone hangs at his waste, and seems to be the implement of his craft.

Mantle: A chilling breeze follows him, betraying the loss of the last hopes of summer. Crackling leaves settle in his footprints, and pathetically wilt. Cold frost of a late autumn morning clings to things that he touches, and it always smells like rain when Valentine is about.

Personality: His words are well chosen, and his wit is second to none, but there is always a tinge of black humor to his words. He is proud of his works, but not overly so. He is critical, to the point of over analyzing things. Social aptitude is not his focus, and it is not uncommon for him to avoid situations where he is the center of attention.

Background

Not much is known about the history of Valentine the Maker. He is very tight lipped about where he came from, and who he knows. It is known that he was the head Smith in a forge, charged with the creation of amazing weapons. He has kept the details of his works a secret. It is assumed that he does not want his techniques stolen, but there might be more to it. The only clue regarding those past deeds is the hammer that he carries with him everywhere.

Current Activities: Valentine has become very involved with le parkour, and is an accomplished tracuer. Most of his friends are also athletes, and tend to be fairly cerebral. On a political note, he has become heavily involved with the politics of the Winter Court, but enjoys the company of his mixed court motley.
