Known History
Basic Timeline:
- 1959 - Twins Vincent and Damien are born to George and Teresa Farrell. They are seldom apart. Damien is the bold adventurous twin, whereas Vincent is always shy and introverted.
- 1972 - One day when driving, Vinnie, his brother and his father are all kidnapped by the Fae Young Lord Dou, nephew to Satan himself. Vinnie and Damien never see their father again.
- Arcadia - Vinnie is turned into a consummate bard by his master as a sort of prestige project. Meanwhile Damien becomes a pit fighter. Vinnie is turned against his brother by his Keeper, who tells him Damien wants to kill him. Damien attempts to escape with Vinnie and Vinnie rats them both out. Damien is punished and sold on. After many years they see each other again, Vinnie has the choice to see whether Damien will live or die after a pit fight. He chooses to save his brother, and they escape together.
- New Year's Eve, 1999 - Vinnie, Damien and a gaggle of other Changelings escape from the Hedge to find Dublin vastly changed from their childhood. They seek refuge in the George, a famous gay bar in Dublin city centre, and Vinnie meets Feathered Jessop. They are introduced to the Winter King, and are pursued from the meeting by a Keeper swinging a golden chain.
- February, 2000 - Vinnie, Damien and the other newcomers join the Freehold of Dublin, signing a pledge to lend support to each other and other Freehold members in times of trouble. Vinnie's promised service is "encouragement". It is revealed that the Contracts with the Seasons no longer apply in Dublin.
- 2000-2002 - Vinnie becomes a busker in Dublin's Temple Bar area.

- Vinnie busks in Temple Bar, goes to see blue movies and hangs around in clubs and bars looking for gigs.

Quotes
- "I remember the balls and the lights and the magic, and then I look around me and see nothing but dreariness and danger. Why wouldn't I want to go back?"
- Vinnie: "Listen, I know my brother gets pissed off when I talk about the good times I had in Arcadia. And I think you feel the same way. So I'm sorry, alright? I thought you'd take it as a compliment. I'm sorry you didn't have as good a time as I did in Arcadia, okay?"
Spit: "No, we're not okay." *walks away*
Sarah: "Fuck off, Vinnie!"

Rumours
- Vinnie has been seen going into the Hedge, and only returned when Damien dragged him back out.
