In her mask, Viola stands about 5'6" with a thin build. She is built more wiry then stick straight. She has curly black hair, and green eyes. Her hair has a few lines of grey starting to show. She seems to be in her late 20s or early 30s. She talks with a Russian accent. Her skin, espically her face, always seems to have a slight glow to it, like coming in after a walk on a brisk day. When walking, it can be hard to keep up with her. She moves very quickly, and tends to be slightly more aglie then one might give her credit for. Viola tends to be dressed nicely, as she is a professor, in skirts and blouses. Her hands are always described as being 'warm'.
Mein: Neither Viola's height nor build change in her Mein. But her hair, no matter how worn, always seems to be blowing. The grey hair in her Mask turns into a light blue shade. The area around her face shimmers slightly. Her feet never seem to touch the ground. Every now and then, a blackbirds feather blows past her on a warm wind. Her eyes burn with a slight fury, not uncommon among the Summer Court. Her clothes take on a very different look, that could be described as almost fairyish; Flowing dresses nor flowing skirts, often shorter then the knee, are not unknown.

Known History
Basic Timeline:
-1931 – Born near Navahrudak, Belorussia as Hanna Larionov.
-1941 – Rounded up and placed in the Navahrudak Ghetto.
-Spring 1942 – Family escapes Ghetto and heads for Naliboki Forest where the Bielski Brothers formed a Jewish Resistance Group designed to help Jews escape the Nazis.
-Winter 1943 – Just after her 12th birthday, during a firefight, Hanna follows a woman who looks like an allied Russian Partisan. Instead winds up being lead through the hedge and pressed into service of a keeper.
-1944-2000 – During the day, Hanna was a breeze for a keeper who lived on a cloud. Hanna never learned the true name of the keeper, or has since forgotten it. She only referred to the keeper as Baba Yaga. At night, Hanna is transformed back into a human. Learns that she can willingly transform and does so. She believes she has killed Baba Yaga.
-2000 – Emerges from the Hedges back in Naliboki, looking about 18 years old. Works as a waitress for six months while saving up money to move to Moscow. Chooses the name Viola after the violet flower, which her keeper hated.
-Late 2000 – Moves to Moscow and meets up with members of the Autumn Court. Joins the Court.
-2001 – Enrolls in Moscow State University and studies Sociology.
-2003 – While her motley is being chased by a monster from the Hedge, while rescuing a newly emerged Changeling, Viola turns and fights the monster, defeating it. After that experience, she leaves the Autumn Court on good terms and joins the Summer Court.
-Summer 2003 – Attends a tournament and meets Mother Rowena. The two of them talk a bit and find similar ground.
-2004 – Graduates from Moscow State University. One of the members of the Autumn Court stumbles upon an article about an NIU History professor named Avarham Lark (nee Larionov) who is retiring. Viola reenrolls for a masters program at Moscow State University.
-2005-2006 – Viola and her friend in the Autumn court conspire to create a new identity for Viola, so she can move to the US and meet her brother. After she graduates with a subspecialty in belief patterns with her thesis on Fairy Tales, they use the same contacts on the black market to get her a PhD.
-Late Summer/Fall 2006 – Viola gets a job at NIU. She and a changeling headed for LA travel together. Viola has a very scary trip due to it being the first time on a plane. She has a layover in LA where she joins Rowena’s family. Then she moves on to Chicago and finally DeKalb.
-Fall 2006 – Viola confronts her brother, but as Hanna’s grandchild rather then his sister. She makes up a story about Hanna living in Moscow with a partisan family that took her away from the firefight. Viola also makes a Hollow accessible from her office. She officially starts teaching.
-Spring 2007 – After a few months of trying to convince her, Silver finally convinces Viola to join the Bishopric of Blackbirds. He also mentions that email might be helpful for her work. She convinces her ‘second cousin’ to teach her how to use email, having learned how to type in Moscow.
-Summer 2007 – Viola attends the Summer Tournament and then leaves for a month trip to Belize. Her cover is doing research on local legions. The actual reason is escorting a Changeling initially from Belize back. Arrives back in DeKalb during a break in the storm and fights with the resistance during the second round.

- The whole story is false and Viola doesn't remember who she actually was. Hanna has long been dead, and Viola is just using her name.
- Viola only joined the Bishopic of Blackbirds under threats from Sliver

- Viola never left the Autumn Court and is spying on the Summer Court for them. However she decided she liked what the Summer Court stood for and is now a double agent.
- Viola once belonged to a Motely of Bridge Burners in Moscow. All of the other members are dead.
