From Changeling Venue

Hospitality is a cornerstone of Lost culture but given the responsibilities and innate perils of being a safe haven for changeling you don't know this simple, yet effect pledge makes sure the guests of the Freehold act on good faith, and gives Lord the right at anytime to tell them they are unwelcome. It also removes the strain of housing such guests as they become able to pay for lodging.

Wording

"Thank you for your hospitality. My stay is short but your generosity seems endless, I promise I will not be an ungracious guest so that I can be welcome should I happen this way once more."

or

"Thanks for the place to stay, I won't cause any trouble."

Mechanics

Significance

In order to enact this pledge the person acting as worn to must be a member of a Freehold, because of the Banishment sanction. This is pledge can be administered by the Monarch of the freehold but needs not be for the ruler of the Freehold to enact Banishment and in essence revoke a person's welcome. The lesser blessing of basic money to subsist up is particularly useful to easy the burden of housing changelings without material means, such as those fresh from the Hedge or wandering ne'er-do-well.
