Whether it's a threat come through the briar, keeping in touch with other Freeholds or even keeping contact with the underground in Arcadia, or simply keeping lines of communication open between other disparate groups the White Stag see's it as their mission to carry messages swiftly and securely to their destination(s).

History

The White Stag has a history that is as long and varied as the Changelings that make up its ranks. Rumors surround the service, stemming from sources of rivalry and, perhaps, from the Fae themselves. Some say the service is a trap for careless changelings that have hope of reaching trapped or lost loved ones. Others say the service is run by goblins with an uncanny knack of navigating the Hedge like it was a calm sea.

The truth is simply none of the above. Or is it?

What can be known about the White Stag is sung in the praises of those that have employed it's services. No job is too small for the service, for each piece of correspondence or each package is a testimony to the thriving spirit of the Changeling nation as a whole. Those who travel in the midst of the White Stag couriers understand that they take their jobs seriously, and perhaps treat them with reverence. For information is priceless to the Changeling kind, sustains the nation in ways indescribable.

Because of the hope that this service brings, it takes as its emblem the honored White Stag. Safety and security is found in its service. Be it a letter, a trinket, or the transportation of a Changeling person, each run is completed within specified time and conditions.

As its many patrons can attest, the White Stag takes honor in what it does, and does it well.

Backgrounds

Someone helped get you out, you had a friend whose freehold went silent. Whatever the reason, you know this is a war and communication is essential in war.

OOC: We are looking for people who want a chance for their PC to travel, or to add that extra bit of spice to a character's style. We know that people are going to rely on email oocly for the fast delivery. However, there is nothing wrong with stating that the "Package was delivered by ________________." It adds a level to RP that is missing in several venues. It also allows for more interaction between different characters and groups. :)

Organization

The White Stag is a loosely aligned group of couriers dedicated to providing the fastest and most honorable service to its patrons. Each region has it's Founding member, and each member chooses how he or she wishes to be addressed. This is not a service set up to glorify one individual person, or to make changelings fall into military rank and file. This is a service of dedication from the heart.

The Founder of each region is there to assist any courier with any assignment. The Founder expresses reports as to what can and cannot pass through their region. The Founder is allowed to decide policy for that region, based on the best intentions and needs of that particular region.

Option of Air, Land, or Sea to suit your specific needs
