History
Born October 31, 1969
The Youngest of seven brothers
He lived in his brothers shadows, while smarter than them not as athletic.
He had a temper and is listed in early grades as “wild”.
He learned to hide from his tormentors, then to “moniter” them.
He never fit-in in High School, and was an outcast from normal social circles.
He ditched school on regular basis and fell in with other social misfits and petty criminal types.
During this time he started taking martial arts classes, to appease parents, then later as stress relief.
In his Sophmore year he was caught with others in a minor burglary rap.
Claimed tough love, his parents did nothing to help him, so he did 1 year in Juvie where he earned his GED
He was released from Juvie age 16 and promptly ran away from home, making his living on the streets.
Around 17 he discovered local re-creationist group, the Society of the Sword and Board. He joined group to have something to do, and there befriended Jared.
His time in the group peaks his interest in history and the Wiccan “babes” peak his interest in occult.
The Abduction
October 31st, 21st birthday
He is offered chance to participate in a covens Samhein circle and he accepts thinking circle means “orgy”.
The coven accidently opens door into Hedge and is taken by Fae raiders working for Duke Staert, Black Baron of Star Keep.
Durance
He is given to an “academy” of the black arts where he shows a gift for the studies.
The combination of these studies and the food he is given to nourish himself begins slow change into Seeming.
He nearly Masters his studies in six years and his Seeming completed.
His first assignment by from his “Noble” patron is to spy on a bastard child knight and report back, and if the opportunity presents, kill said knight. Unknown to him knight is Jared, whom doesn’t remember him.
He joins with Jared in his battles against the forces of “evil” and they share several "adventures" together. As they journey together his memories begin to awaken and a bond forms.
Jared faces the Black Baron in his stronghold and Jason looks for chance to complete assignment and watching from shadows.
Jared drives back the Black Baron and defeats his gateway guardian, the resulting battle jars Jasons memories completely.
They exit the Gateway together and Jason swears the Motley Oath with Jared.
The Return
1997 – Finds that Jared made it through and contacts him
Discovers that Jared has met Jason’s fetch
Creates New ID as Jake and makes place in local Winter Court.
Hooks back up with Jared, becomes the “shadow” behind him. Jared is too much the ‘hero’ so Jake does for him what he doesn’t know must be done.
He hunts down his fetch and then spys on Fetch for the next 2 years, learning who it has become. He iss disgusted by lifestyle that fetch has chosen, a lazy play toy for the wiccans he once admired.
1999 – He starts to break up relationships of the Fetch, taking from it everthing that was taken from him. October 31 Kills fetch and takes it's place, chooses the date as poetic justice. An odd thing occurred as fetch dies, Jason reabsorbs his shadow then it vanishes into a small mirrored cross, Jason keeps the cross until he can finlearn more about what just happened. Continues as Jared's unknown assassin, spy and hidden protecter while filling the same role for the Winter Court. Starts to drift fromt he Court, feeling something is missing. As Jason picks up life with unwanted outcasts and petty criminals on the streets uses Jake as 'legit' identity when needed to evade trouble.
Summer 2002 – Summer King vanishes In true Winter fashion lays low and stays unnoticed.
2004 – Hears rumors of others who had an experience like his in killing their fetch. He seeks out and meets Ignacio and they find a common bond. Learns about another Court philosophy and begins study under Ignacio.
